Five-star cornerback Tony Brown talks FSU offer

This guy sounds like he has legitimate interest. I like what I read about his Mother. She knows this can't be an emotional decision, and is treating this like business.
We need to get him on campus soon.

He spoke very highly of his mother, not just for the obvious reasons. I can see why he is handling this process so well, as she has been around the recruiting process for years.

Tamu and John Foot are going to be the sexy team this year. UT is going to hate them with a passion and I bet they finish with one of the stronger classes this year. It was one thing to pull a top kid out of Texas with just UT being who they are. Now with Tamu getting as much or more press and shine time, I could see getting Texas blue chippers to leave the state could be an even bigger challenge. Just a thought though.

I do not think TAMU is going to have a good year. Soph season for Heisman winner is typically not good. Likewise, TAMU loses big bodies on OL and DL.....this is where it hurts you the most in SEC.
Nonetheless, state of texas is loaded at CB this year. This young man looks very very good.

Haha I love how in both threads I got down voted because I said that it will be tough to beat lsu. Tom even confirmed what I said, but we have fans who think we will get everybody we offer and hate reality

I don't either. I think the offense came in and really surprised the SEC; caught them off guard. I think those schools will have it figured out next year. Look what Auburn, LSU , UF etc. have done to elite offenses with time to prepare. The defense isn't on the level of the rest of that conference.

He was the first freshman to ever win the Heisman, so I'm not sure where you're drawing that assumption from.

Well, at least FSU is now in the ball game. Having his sister at LSU will be hard to overcome, and I know FSU was in the running for her before she choice LSU. We will see how things play out.

Beaumont is almost in Louisiana, with his sister being at LSU and them having a good track program, they will be tough to beat.

If we are recruiting him, or any other player, that will be playing 2 sports while here, does that change the amount of contact we can have with that player?
For instance: Could he take 2 official visits? Could both head coaches contact him? Does it change anything t all?
