That same list has Brady Hoke at #24 (who coaxed a horrible SDSU program into winning bowl games and coached a mediocre UM squad to a Sugar Bowl win), and, of course, Little Nicky is #1, (a guy who couldn't cut it in the League; just ask Jim Harbaugh how tough a transition the jump to the NFL is if you actually can coach).
In other words, the list is a piece of crap.
FSU Football. Making cool the new swag since 2013.

you (as a coach) have no right to bitch if you are losing to terrible uva and wake teams in the same year.
We lost to 3 teams with inferior talent last year.
We lost to 2 the year before.
No one who does that should be placed in the top 20.
Hopefully Jimbo's 2012 lets him climb the list.
Granted , Chizik is a buffoon but he has won a mnc.
IMHO this board has really missed the boat on Golden. I would bet my house we don not lose to both uva and wake with Golden as our hc.
I doubt we lose to either one with Golden.
Um was in utter disarray after Shannon and then shapiro happened. Despite that Um showed up most weeks.

Dude what did Golden exactly show in his career. He has beat one team with a winning record at Temple while Steve Addazio did what he could not do with those same players in one season. Steve won a bowl game and the conference something Al never accomplished, and Al was beat by a svitty BC and Maryland teams. So please tell us again why would you take Al over Jimbo.

I keep seeing people say we lost to teams with inferior talent. Really? Was our OL sooo drastically more talented than our opponents DL? You can have all the skill position talent in the world but if you cant get it done up front, not much will work.

I don't think I would take Golden over Fisher but I see the points you are trying to make... Golden is not as bad as FSU fans make him out to be, and Jimbo is not as good as FSU fans make him out to be... Ironic how that works out!
