I don't know if people are serious or not with this suggestion, but it keeps popping up. Stanford's (ex) OC was hired by the Colts---and even if he hadn't gone to the NFL, do you honestly think he's going to leave Stanford, a premier offensive team that can afford to pay him a ton (thanks to Luck's donations specifically to pay for that position)???
Sorry, but there are dreams and then there are lunacies.

Why does waiting result in the more sound decision? That's precisely the logic that I am questioning. If it's a recruiter, I want every single day I can get out of that recruiter even if it's only an extra week 1 or 2 years before NSD. Plus, while a new recruiter isn't going to establish relationships in a short period of time, the presence of a strong south Florida personality on staff MIGHT be just some very slight help in the Thomas, Coley, and Kirkland sweepstakes. Something is better than nothing. For instance, you don't think the hire of someone like Ice Harris would have any effect on this year's class?
