He almost did at out JR day as well. I'm worried he might pull the trigger this weekend. If he doesn't I'll take it as a positive sign that what we're hearing is good info. Are you guys recruiting his BF 2014 TE Reilly Gibbons? If we decide to offer I expect him to jump on board. Some of the above comments had me ND doesn't negatively recruit. Guess we should be saying the same thing about Darby, but we're not. Are you guys recruiting AZ WR Devon Allen? He recently toasted Darby in the 200 and he's much better than the WV WR you were targeting.

Reilly is on the radar, but to be honest, I believe there are a few others above him on the early board. This is a kid with really solid hands, but he is not the playmaker like Adam Breneman, DeSean Smith or even Mike Heuerman (when comparing them at this stage in their careers). I think there is something missing about his game offensively that I just can't pinpoint. You can't teach size and he has plenty of it, but there just seems to be hesitation about him on the field. Whether he is blocking, attempting to break a tackle or even when rushing the quarterback. He just seems to be missing that burst and that extra gear. I definitely like his potential on defense more than offense, but I will say that he is a good all-around kid with a lot of potential on both sides of the ball.

FSU is not actively recruiting Devon Allen. Again, it is a case of others higher on the radar. With Tony Stevens on board and heavy interest in Stacy Coley, Isaiah Jones, Juwaan Williams, Alvin Bailey and Dominic Walker, there isn't room for Allen.
