If the big 12 adds vt and gt to go along with FSU Clem does the Miami rivalry go away? I'm more concerned with FSU wanting to drop it the same way and same reasons uf@g did.

A lineup of games to include gt, vt, Clem, ut/OU, wvu, uf, and Miami is a helluva year. A helluva year! That's a couple more sell outs than we have now.

I had a dream last night (I've been having some WEIRD dreams lately) that we were all set to go to the Big 12 and Barron blocked us at the last minute because he thinks we're better off in the ACC. Then Louisville took our spot with Clemson and FSU faded into relative obscurity with the rest of the ACC.

It was a bad dream.

Not a chance. Mike Slive is the godfather of this whole thing... he has absolutely made correct decisions every time. He has allied and gone against the ACC and Big 12 a number of times the last few years when it served the SEC's interests. He did not do this Big12/SEC bowl game for humanitarian purposes; Mike Slive is the most valuable property the SEC has going for it. I hope he stays around until the whole cycle is completed. We are just waiting around to add Va. Tech and NC State to the SEC to get to 16. I am most curious about what the PAC will do now. They really blew it when they could have put a nail in the Big 12 coffin last year. I wonder if they regret not letting UT keep their Tier 3 rights. If they would have, I think they are at 16 with the TX/OK schools and the ACC is the one poaching, not being poached.
