Playing OU and Texas every year would be foolish but Bama had to play LSU and Arky/Auburn the last three years and won 2 titles. You're either a big dog or a fake. We'll step up. Give us 28mil a year in tv money and we get an IPF, renovated dorms, etc etc etc

The beauty of this whole situation is that we're wanted badly. For years the ACC has acted like they don't appreciate us and the SEC fans have informed us at every turn we aren't wanted. It's just nice that the B12 and their fans just badly want FSU to join. It's felt nice, I'll admit.

No way Clemson gets an invite without FSU.

My bet is 14 or 16 if the SEC take there two out of the ACC.

Not that this matters but FSU is the school my home board is most excited about. We love your school and your classy fans. So welcome to the Big 12 from the Sooner faithful.

He guys! We are thrilled to have FSU in the conference. I've read many of the comments here and other ACC boards. FSU deserves better than to be treated as badly as the ACC is treating you. Tonight we've seen several people say FSU and CU have agreements in place with the Big 12. Brian Ethridge, Baylor 247, has been out in front of this thing the whole time. He just released a news article confirming that those agreements are in place, and goes a bit further as who 13 and 14 will be. Notre Dame is a real possibility, but VaTech and GaTech are also possible. I don't know if you can access it, as it's VIP, but the mods can. We enjoy the FSU folks visiting with us on our site. Premium Big 12 making move to Big 14?

The news of the Big 12/SEC Champions Bowl a little earlier than expected has shaken a few ACC schools loose from the conference.

Will Notre Dame be counting scores in the Big 12?

As BearsTruth reported earlier this week Florida State and Clemson would likely move to the Big 12 in 2013. This takes the conference back to a conference championship game and back on par with the SEC in the BCS.

Now, we are hearing Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Pitt, and even Notre Dame are looking at the two seats to 14 to match the SEC in conference size.

The reasons Notre Dame would consider the conference are tier 3 rights to sale, not getting left out of the BCS championships in a possible conference championship model, and strengthening the Notre Dame brand across the Southwest and Gulf Coast.
Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech both bring programs ready to compete and rivalries for match ups television viewers and executives wish to see.

BEYOND 14?
Louisville is currently on the outside looking in, but if the conference were to go to 16 teams, in the utopian 4 conference 16 team model, the Cardinals would be a quality addition.
Pitt is an interesting school to watch as they filed suit on the Big East to exit early once the rumors began to swirl concerning Clemson and FSU. Could their history with Notre Dame and West Virginia bring them into the fold for a place in the 16 team conference?

For now Sources out of South Carolina and Florida have indicated the deals have been agreed upon for Clemson and Florida State to notify the ACC of their intent to explore other conferences. Then the two universities will need to submit an application to the Big 12. Big 12 presidents will need to approve the applications and welcome the two newest members.

There's just to much damn smoke from Big XII people for this not to be true. I think there are just a lot of paranoid/cautious FSU fans waiting for confirmation from a legitimate Florida State person.

I'm putting all my chips on the Big XII people with knowledge, since it's THEIR conference. JMO

Everyone saw the aTm/Mizzou fiasco last year and they don't want a repeat. FSU leaders are doing what they should be at this point. Like my thread on here said...
