First time I've seen something in the deal that is absolutely wrong; The ACC kept the Tier 3 basketball rights, but they sold all the football? That means significantly more money for Duke, North Carolina, etc. That in itself is reason enough to leave.

why would the acc highlight this? it shows the ACC commissioner negotiated a deal favoring basketball powers over football powers even though most of the money is from football. If FSU, Clemson and Miami (people still watch miami) leave for the big 12 with Louisville, the ACC's 17 million dollar deal would drop into the 8 million/school range

IMHO, They are trying to push us out. They want to reconfigure the conference by adding 2more basketball schools. I mean, why didn't they add Rutgers which is more of a football school than the like of Cuse and Pitt ? The ACC wants to remain a basketball conference and the football schools that remain will just have to accept it.

I wouldn't take it that far. Bottom of the SEC is still better than the bottom of the B12. Kansas and ISU are hot garbage. With FSU committed to winning paired with OU, UT and then a solid OSU behind them the top of the B12 will be able to compete with any conference in America though.
