FSU offers Mississippi RB

West Point (Miss.) four-star running back Aeris Williams got the call on Sunday night. Florida State is the latest school in pursuit of his services.

  • Pretty impressive versatility. Cross between LP and JWJ sorta. What level of competition does he play?

  • Thanks Chris, for the article, and the highlights.

This kid looks pretty good in his highlights.
He seems to run really hard; he also seems to have good strength, power, balance, and vision; to go along with really good size, and excellent hands.

I think you guys got him in the right spot, at the #12 RB.

I hope we can get him, but we need more than just him at RB in this year's class.
If we could some how get him, Chubb, and Sony Michel, now that would be a very good class of RBs.
They are also all big backs, which is what we need, but I wouldn't mind if we took a smaller, but lighting fast back as well.
Of course this is all just a dream, because landing that many good RBs is not going to happen, unless you are Bama.

But since I am dreaming, my dream commitment at RB, as of right now (not including Leonard Fournette, as he is everyone's dream pick) is, Racean Thomas, but I have no idea where we stand with him; there is though, still a lot of time between now, and next February, so anything can happen.

I think, outside of winning games, getting one of our RBs to eclipse a Thousand yards this year has to be a top priority, that is, if we want to be able to land big time RBs consistently.
Also, with the way we get all the RBs involved, If one of them has more than a thousand yards, there could very well be another that is really close also.

Is FSU involved at all with Racean Thomas? I haven't heard FSU and him mentioned together.

West Point in north MS and there's pretty good comp in that area. That being said WP is about the same distance from MIssissippi State campus as Thomasville is from FSU so it will be tough to pull him away from them.
