I think he could replace Tank.

At 6'6 ~260 and a pass rusher he'd be a RE anyways which is hardly a replacement for Bjoern. Maybe get this guy in and put him at RE with Casher. Newberry and Edwards hold down LE IF IF IF Bjoern leaves.

I'd feel more than confident and comfortable with that. Casher won't be a clipboard holder as a Sophomore.

Gotta love this kids size. He probably can carry another 25 pounds pretty easily on that frame.

You guys appear to have been leading. We're excited about where we might stand after he visits mid-July. Do you guys see him as an elite Juco prospect or a guy that would come in and provide situational help?

We've been saying this for months, don't worry what people vote.

I think us offering a Juco seems pretty logical.

Casher and Edwards both have special potential and I see them as star players as true soph's, then you have Werner best case scenario and he could be the best DE in the country in '14.

I think Newberry is solid. He could be more explosive and he is seemingly one handed at this point defeating blocks. Was he hurt in the Spring game or is he your typical lefty that can't use his right hand?

But one injury and a true frosh is seeing 30-40 snaps a game. Outside of Ndemche(sp?) there probably aren't many HS seniors out there that could handle that right away and play at a high level. And I'm a huge Tim Williams guy, but even he is going to have to grow into the position.
