Bower camped at FSU two summers ago. He's familiar with campus and the coaching staff. Coley has been his main recruiter throughout.

We should make him a priority. I don't want to sound like a stargazer but I think we need at least 1 highly ranked (a player many consider almost elite/elite) HS DE in this class.
Deserve got nothing to do with it...

Why was he not a priority for the 9 months or so that we virtually ignored him after he sounded set to commit last year as a junior?

Yep. Kinda weird how names like Bower @ Laswson are all of a sudden popping up more (not that I'm complaining haha)

Bower is a kid from New Jersey so when he commits and gives you reason to believe he is firm (until a staff gets fired) you drop kids like that who aren't in your recruiting area generally.

Bower and Walker are totally different players IMO. Bower (6-5 241) projects best as a WDE with really good athleticism while Walker (6-2 276) would be better served as an interior disruptor at the 3 tech spot. JMHO though

Makes sense. Its not like our staff has the luxury of time...or a full staff.
