This, I would even bet a undefeated Big East team would make it over a one loss SEC team. People need to seriously get off the SEC's nuts, I am sick and tired of hearing about them. Time for some other teams to step up.

Look at 2006 and 2011 as examples. UF wouldn't have gone to the championship in 2006 had USC beaten UCLA (and USC already had 1 loss). Alabama wouldn't have gone to the championship in 2011 had Ok State beaten Baylor (based on SOS and conference RPI, Ok St. should have gone anyways).

It has been an interesting topic already and probably will be until FSU loses next season: Does an undefeated FSU team, without WVU on the schedule, make it into a National Championship game over a one-loss SEC team? Do they need to replace WVU with a decent team or should they just load up another cupcake?
Personally, with the star-power that the FSU name possesses, I don't think there is any way the voters don't have them in the top two. An interesting discussion though. ESPN 760's Brian Rowitz and I talked about it on our podcast yesterday.

FSU better off without WVU game?
