Tied for 15th now.

Looks like we're in 7th at the end of the first round. They must have still been playing when you posted earlier.

Noles are tied for 5th currently and yet to begin play today. They will be on the course with Kent State and co-leader uf. Noles sit 2 strokes behind UCLA and uf. UCLA is currently thru 13-17 today.

Can someone explain to me how it works as far as who advances and how many advance and who plays who in the Championships? TIA.

Croz, my brother in law plays at furman and I think they have to win their conference to move on. Not sure about big schools. I'll ask him and see how it works. Noles currently in 3rd, having a good day

So top 8 in this tournament are seeded as they place. Is the single elimination tournament just 1 round? And how many rounds is this tournament? This is round 2, so I am guessing there is either 2 or 3 rounds, no way they have time for 4 rounds, because according to the site it is supposed to end June 2nd.

I would assume 1 round single elimination

From what I was told: it is conference champions and at large teams that qualify for nationals. Then there are 6 regionals and the top 5 at each one goes to nationals. Then the top 8 I think go to match play and the final bracket. Winner moves on in each of those rounds until theres a winner.

We are done for the day.....the last 3 holes got us a bit as we went 4 over....however we are still holding on to 4th with most all of the teams in or about to be in... We have two guys in the top 16 at last check..... We are only 3 strokes up on the 8th spot.... so we need a good day tomorrow to make it to the finals....

Hanging tough in 4th rounding the turn. We have a 5 shot cushion on the 9th place team right now. Top 8 would be huge. At minimum that would be a 5th place finish for Directors Cup points.

FSU alone in 8th. 1 shot ahead of Kent State. FSU with 4 left on the course, Kent St with 2 left on the course.

Kent State is done and is one stroke back....FSU has 4 holes to play with 3 players....if we par in we are in the semi's..... We will lose the tie breaker to Kent...... However, there are still 2 teams in front of us that could also throw up on themselves to get us in.....easiest way to get in is to par out......which is easier said then done.
