    Have we really beat up on them the past couple of years? From what I can remember, it's been pretty even.

    Their monster recruiting classes are still freshman and sophomores. If you don't see where they are headed when those guys are upperclassmen, then you're just burying your head in the sand.

    We are on opposite trajectories. They are going up while we are going down. We used to be head and shoulders above them in baseball. No longer the case and it would not surprise me at all if they won a title in baseball before we did. In fact I expect it unless we do something.

    Since Sullivan took over (2008-Present), the series is as follows:

    2007-2008: Florida State won 3 of 4
    2008-2009: Florida took 2 of 3 games
    2009-2010: Florida State won 4 of 5 games (incl. 1 CWS game)
    2010-2011: Florida State won 1 of 1 (so far)

    So, we are 9-4 against them including a win to knock them out of the CWS. Not bad for having what many consider to be inferior talent.

    Also, I have never said once in this thread that I think we will be better than them moving forward. I agree that they have the talent coming in and continuing to come in to make a good run at a title at some point. I am only trying to point out that we are doing pretty darn well for having less talent than they do.

  • O'Sullivan took over in 2008.

    He is 4-9 against FSU. Including 0-2 in the NCAA Tournament/CWS.

    So he was their coach in 2007-08? If so, that makes my argument even more (changed my other post above).
