The differing opinions of EJ from the scouts really seems to mirror the FSU fanbase over the past two years. I hope for his sake he has a good senior bowl like CP7 did.

And it's this inconsistency that allows a team to move up and down the field while not finishing drives with Td's leading to not dominating teams on the scoreboard. Cue Nc St, UVA, uf, wake over the last 2 years.

To be fair, '11 WF wasn't EJ's fault. Trickett lost that game in the first half.

I'd be surprised if the coaches draw up anything that forces EJ to read the middle of the field. His short throws were great, but everything over the middle past 10 yards was touched by a defender. Just not his thing I guess.

Why do you think we didn't throw it over the middle much this year? Closest we got to throws over the middle were quick slants.

What most forget is that the damn coach decides who plays.
If EJ was the problem limiting Jimbo's offense over 3-years, then we have a dumb ass coach, who can't make the correct decision over who to start.
EJ was never going to be as good as a healthy Ponder. It was obvious from the get-go...oh so painfully obvious.... and we decided to just ride it out and see where it took us. Welp, hope ACC championship during a year we had NC talent was good enough.
