In all honesty, I wish they would save some of that cash for coaching salaries. In the grand scheme of things, it's like an investment in FSU. Football is the cash cow and we need to be able to pay top coaching salaries. I'd sacrifice a few stadium upgrades for that.

The seats that actually will get taken out would be in the end zone, which right now is the "cheap" seat area. When they turn them into club seats, they will be able to get a premium, especially if there is access to the UCC.
I'm with Mac, though. I'd love to have an old fogie seat with a chairback. A BIG problem with the bleachers, aside from comfort, is that not everyone has the same sized ass. 2 years ago, my family was next to a large family and if we hadn't had aisle seats, we would have been crushed. Literally. With chairs, you have a defined area and generally have to stay in it.

Most all of these upgrades, dorms, IPF etc. Are funded separately from our $80 million operating budget.
IPF was privately funded, dorms were bonded, but also a cash cow, the chair backs will be pre-sold etc.
The upgrades will make this job even more desirable than it already is (11th best per one site).
