I understand not pushing kids into commitments but it would be nice just once this cycle if a kid committed on a visit. Especially if your competition is FIU and Army or whatever.

Typically I agree with you, but at this point I think even if he committed this weekend, have him wait till NSD because its 1 more that picks us on signing day. lets say we get 6 or 7 commits on NSD we'll be one of the major story lines of the day, they'll talk about how Jimbo looked like Bowden in his prime closing etc etc. While it doesn't matter too much either way the more we get on NSD the more ESPNU's coverage will talk about us and that actually matters to kids now a days.

Who's to say FSU gave him the option? They may have told him they will let him know at noon wednesday if he has a spot. You don't know.

you never know... he may have committed to the coaches but doesn't want it announced until he's had a chance to tell his coach, his family, or the coaches recruiting him. BTW, the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach at Iowa State is my good friend (and former FSU linebacker coach) Wally Burnham and his son Shane who are both excellent recruiters.

But then there is his friend who name is playing time. I could see him go to ISU especially if Bowers flips.

LOL drag out? This kid would give his left nut for the chance to commit to FSU....all his other offers are garbage.
FSU will tell him when and where to commit.
