DUKEvsUNC

  • I think everyone on here was hoping for a Duke blowout to help w/ FSU's pursuit of Andrew Wiggins. In that regard, I don't think we could've asked for anything more. Hopefully, the legacy will decide to take his talents to Tally for next yr. The Seminoles (if healthy) would most likely have their greatest team since they moved to the ACC.

  • Still think it will be UK for Wiggins. I base that solely on Leonard Hamilton and his inability to develop anybody or any team. We all know, no matter where Wiggins goes, he will be the 1st pick in the 2014 draft, but a kid like him still wants to succeed, team wise and personally, and Hamilton hasn't proven he can offer that. The family angle has been played the entire recruitment, nothing much more than that offered, the decision is getting nearer, I feel the best business decision will be made, and that will probably be UK.

  • That's a pretty ignorant post. Besides, many feel that UNC is FSU's biggest competition here, not Kentucky.

I sure hope you're wrong, but you may be right. It'd be mighty hard for any kid to turn down Coach Cal & UK, based on his/their track record.

I think Ham's done better here than you give him credit for, but he can't compare to Coach Cal.

  • Hamilton had no problem developing Bernard James from a raw juco player into a dominating big man and 1st round draft pick. People also forget Ryan Reid, toney douglas, and al thornton. Just because he doesn't produce lottery picks doesn't mean he doesn't develop players.
