4th and 1for the game and acc and jimbos job
That may have been the play of the game.
"I never knew I had a foot until I noticed it was on your neck"
3-2-1 TOUCHDOWN FSU
Wilder did that all on his own by shear will. He showed the heart of a champion. No one was getting him down until he got that 1st down.
Hunter had 2 picks but he also got worked by 83 all night. My game ball goes to Tank, he was everywhere.
Plus Hunter fumbled for the 3rd time as a PR. Can we try Darby back there now?
I dont know if CJF job was on the line but that play spared us from a lot of grief and board meltdown
it was a hell of an effort by Wilder he saved the day
Life is good. Now lets go win another championship.
Oh yea, forgot about that.
Our special teams needs some serious work. Too many muffed punts, blocked punts and poor punts by Beatty. This has got to be fixed or it will cost us 1 of our last few games.
First of all Wilder is a man, but I'm pretty sure he was hurt this game. He had his arm hanging funny all game, and I think this is the main reason he didn't play more. The game cried out for him, but when I saw us line up in that short yardage formation on 4th and 1, I said to my TV "please don't run it here" and then I was proven wrong, love that guy.
We were in a hole, held to a minus in the rushing column, need 1.5 yards and he got 3-4. The line did not open any hole for him to walk through, he had to fight.
Game ball to Wilder; without that 4&1 conversion there is no TD pass to Greene.
I think his shoulder is still bothering him. I noticed him hanging the arm last night after a tackle in the first half.
Didn't he get like 6+ yards?
Who was the DT that stood up Logan Thomas right at the line? That was huge and extremely impressive. Without that they get a first down and can run the clock down to about a minute with us having no timeouts left and them possibly adding a TD instead of a FG.
Good...I was shocked by how Freeman was getting so many more carries than Wilder.
I think Wilder is a tremendous weapon especially in the 2nd half when defenses are tiring down. I understand why we abandoned the run, but I still think we could've run more with JWJ had he been healthy.
I don't tihnk his job was on the line, but it was still big time.
"Some people think football is a matter of life and death, I assure you, it is much more serious than that."
