Took back the ACC and got back into the BCS.
Played awesome albeit unspectacular defense all year.
One of my favorite groups of seniors ever went out with a win.
Promising youngsters emerged on defense.
The Clemson win was a blast to watch.
The team looked awful on the road and didn't look prepared.
Playcalling was mediocre to poor and didn't showcase what the team does well.
Special teams were up and down, we essentially never settled on a PR.
Turnovers and sloppy play plagued us all year.
The UF game was a bad loss and the lack of defensive adjustments hurt as much as the turnovers.
Injuries to Brandon, CT and Tank were beyond disheartening.

It was a successful season and we improved again; however given our schedule and talent we had every reason to jump to the next level and be playing for the NC. We're getting back to where we need to be and can earn even more respect in April when we will probably have our best representation in the NFL draft in years. If we can finish this recruiting cycle strong and make some huge signings, then I would push it up to a B+. It's just like in the classroom when you get a B. You did well but you know you're capable of better if you improve and put more time and hard work in it.
I would agree with your assessment RyRog....B
79.67% rounded up to a B- as close as you can get, but still passed!
Kenny Powers: "A true champion will do whatever it takes to rise above. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies."
I'm glad to know you have a rounding up policy. Hate it when teachers don't.
B+ to A-. Met my expectations, just looked bad at times.

I give it a solid B+.
The Clemson game was awesome. By far the high point of the season. Turned out to be a great win.
The outstanding play of Bjeorn Werner, James Wilder, Lonnie Pryor, Rashad Greene, and Menelik Watson.
Winning the ACC and Orange Bowl.
Greg Reid before the year.
Tank, Thompson and Carradine during the year.
NC State and Florida. Losing when leading going into the 4th both games.
Lethargic performances on the road and lack of a killer instinct.
I have been doing a lot of thought about this and have changed my mind a little bit. While we didn't reach our preseason expectations, we won our conference and a BCS game. By those standards 2012 was the best season in a decade.
The national title can only be won by 1 team a year. So basically there are a handful of teams that had legitimate title expectations, who have reason to be disappointed. We are one of those teams and in spite of not reaching that goal, being in that discussion is a very good place to be.
I think it's hard to say Jimbo couldn't have done a better job, but hopefully he's learned some things from mistakes this year that he will not make again. I guess we will see?
Pre-season I thought we would lose 1-2 games by the end of the 14 game season. While that was achieved I do believe at times we did not look like a 12 win team, while at others we looked unbeatable. We achieved the goals of winning the ACC title, regardless of how the rest of the conference was this year. And we achieved our goal of winning a BCS bowl. Matching my expectations and the pre-season goals met all short of a BCS title I would have to give our team a B+ this year. It would have been an A- if we had not lost to NCST an A for going undefeated and competing for a NC and an A+ for winning the BCS NCG.
Three W's In My Life: Ward, Weinke, and Winston
We also lost our best defensive, offensive, and special teams players. Reid could have taken any punt to the house and Thompson was a legit home run threat every time he got the ball. A sack from Jenkins could have come at any time, and given us the ball or the momentum to beat uf or nc st.
That's a lot of potential that got left on the table in 2012.
This team was exactly what I thought they would be of not a little bit better
Would have been an A+ if they just beat the Gators
FSU lost 4 senior all american caliber players for the season and still went 12-2
Watching EJ was about as miserable as it gets but this team continues down the path to immortality
2013 is gonna be tons of phuns
B. You're drunk
C. I'm in the twilight zone
I thought the same thing.
"It's not the SEC conference vs. the ACC conference," "It's Florida State vs. Auburn." --Lamarcus Joyner
D. season is over, I can reflect with the knowledge I will never have to watch the 2012 Noles again
So now I can sit back and make logical opinions without being totally frustrated about that pass EJ just threw
And now you admit you're just a knee jerk reactionary poster. 2013 has been a great year.
I have never not admitted that, Im knee jerk during games or for reactions cause my passion for FSU football is out of this universe and I like adding gasoline to the flame
Incomplete, come back next semester (season) to win it all to receive credit.
Overall, I am pleased with how the season turned out.
Well, then you're the last person I'd want leading a team into battle or offering up cockamamie ways to fix the problems. Thank you sir, for I know feel free to ignore the rest of your expert analysis from here to eternity.
" for I know feel free " might want to get some hooked on phonics there chief
While it sucked, and always will suck, losing to the Gators, losing that game doesn't bother me that much. 5 turnovers, ST errors, etc. We basically followed the "how to lose to UF" game plan to a T. Them's the breaks. Can't do that against a talented team.
The NCSU game was an EJ spin-sack out of field goal range from being an ugly win. Without that, I'd probably say an A.
But if anyone told me we'd lose G5, CT4 and Jenkins, I'd have been very hesitant to say 12-2 with ACC and OB title were possible.
