***I just saw on twitter that USF said they are not going on sale, this is a season ticket holder pre sale. I guess they changed their mind, sorry guys.
USF is releasing 5k single game tickets tomorrow at 9am on ticketmaster. Let's make sure that's 5k Nole fans.
EDIT: You will need the code, GREENGOLD. Here is the link, get em while they're hot.

Haven't Bay area papers already said FSU fans have probably bought 20,000-30,000 tickets?
Not sure, but I'll be there in section 230.
I guess not. We have a 10,500 ticket allotment and the newspaper predicted a sellout a few weeks ago. Only 9,500 tickets remained as of last month. And obviously some FSU fans went and bought USF season tickets in order to get into the game.
I'd expect 20,000-25,000 total FSU fans. Impressive turnout if that's what we bring.
Thanks for this info...I still don't have tickets and will be online tomorrow!
Thanks for the info! I'm definitely going to try and get 10 of those.
You may need this passcode...I saw it reweeted by TN
FSU USF single game tickets will be available at 9 AM 9/14 on TicketMaster using the password "GREENGOLD"
Water is just beer that hasn't reached its full potential.
Hmm...where would one enter that code? after you search? before? I don't often buy through ticketmaster...not sure the process....
I have no clue either...my guess would be that you have to enter it after selecting the event. I just saw it on twitter and wanted to make sure everyone knew there might be a password needed.
Not showing on TM yet, maybe in the morning.
The first post said 9am.
Generally they put it on the site and tell you release time . . . as of 8:30 a.m. this morning they are now listed.
Looks like this is for USF season ticket holders.
WTF? No tickets available! Is anyone getting tix?
Anybody else tried to buy? I see them listed but when I search for best available to buy and it says that none are available.
Well, ticketbastard strikes again! Someone really needs to take a long look at their business practices...Im sure plenty of "ticket suppliers" were able to purchase.
I just saw on twitter that USF said they are not going on sale, this is a season ticket holder pre sale. I guess they changed their mind, sorry guys.
Well, I need tix! keep us updated when their "presale" ends.
Usually a USF student can purchase up to 8 companion tickets. They have also disallowed this as well.
If you want tickets it is becoming apparent that StubHub may be the only way.

Here's what happened:
They sent out that e-mail to USF season ticket holders. FSU fans spread it around. The password would have worked for anyone to purchase tickets. They realized their demand would be garbage after their loss, decided to hold back the release. That's the reason I assume - the USF beat writer says they held them, some nonsense reason.
They will be sending another email to USF season ticket holders. This will probably happen again.
I have two tickets for sale for $150 a piece. They are in the 300 sections but I spent 200 a piece on them a now I have 2 people not going. If i sell them on ebay I will lose a percentage to them so Im willing to go down to $150 a piece. They are coming from a high Seminole Booster (or thats what they claimed on ebay)
Prices on Stubhub are crazy, 444 left starting at 129$ for the 300 sections(ie nosebleed)lower levels are 400-500$.
Deserve got nothing to do with it...
I think you had it right until you mentioned USF losing. I think they realized a lot of those tickets were going to be bought by FSU fans. That's why they took them off of TicketMaster and now you have to purchase them through USF's own ticket site as a season ticket holder.
Would USF be willing to have an 1/2 empty stadium rather than having the away team out number the home team?
