I never brought up anything about your schedule. I just said that the SEC is pretty putrid this year except for Bama & I said your offense sucks. You should be racking up stats if your O was any good, but you are 6 spots away from being the WORST in college football at passing the ball. LSU is right with you too. FSU's D & O is taking care of business like FU's O should be doing if it could.
GO NOLES! / SCALP EM!
7-0 > 7-1
Enjoy it now because it will be 2 losses in a row @ FSU vs Bama in back to back weeks
I think in hind sight those teams have proven to not be as good as first thought.
Against NCST (ranked 66th in total defense) and USF (ranked 59th in total d) FSU avg 23 pts.
FSU also went 1-1 in those ball gms.
Taking care of business?
Texas A&M would beat FSU in my opnion.
"They call me crazy until they find out I'm right"
Delusional because I think we will beat our BIGGEST rival for the third straight season and it's at home?? Call that delusional then sign me up! You sit down and watch UF this season? And all the conference talk means nothing in regards to FSU and UF. They are going to get beat when they come to Doak. Period.
Lol. See you in November and hopefully the Gates are still unbeatened when they take that stoll to Doak Campbell.
Texas A&M would score 50+ on FSU. It wouldn't even be close.
Last season has nothing to do with this season. We weren't good last year. Any UF fan would admit that. Our offense was downright embarrassing and couldn't take advantage of the good situations our D consistently put it in.
Florida is a MUCH better team than FSU at this point. Florida State's D has looked good against Boston College, Miami, and Wake Forest, but the one time they played a team with a legit offense, it looked porous.
Florida's offense doesn't need to rack up a lot of yards. We run the ball, move the chains, put points on the board, and run off a lot of clock. Pair that kind of offense with a defense that consistently forces turnovers and gives our offense short fields to work with, and you have a great team. That's where we are right now.
And the SEC is a bit down this year, I'll admit that. It's still the best conference in the country, though. It's just not as obvious as it usually is. We've played a tougher schedule than Kansas State and Notre Dame, and the computers happen to agree with that.
"A Seminole warrior killed in battle is a legend remembered. A Gator lost in battle becomes a pair of boots and a belt. "
Exactly I dont think there is much room on this board to be bashing UF's schedule when we have beaten 4 ranked teams this year and fsu beat one and has played two fcs teams and probably the worst team in the fbs in Boston College
I do enjoy reading the noles fans who give us a little respect and say we r improving and r better than last week
We have improved we do have flaws but at the end of the day it only matters that you win
Stats and all that are pointless. Our defesne and special teams are one of the best in the nation. Are we the #2 team in the nation prob not. Oregon Bama Kstate looks good but I do think we are top 5 to this point and deserve to be there because of who we have beat

Lets just play it out on Nov. 26th - The best team will win -
Do you agree with that , The best team will win?
IF FSU wins they win , If FL wins they win - Lets talk trash then
Im not talkin trash just statibg facts
Will the best team win that day? Maybe
Never know lots can happen before then
Injuries suspensions u never know
U don't want it to be like that could b a factor
FSU will beat UF in Doak. This team actually gets up for big games especially at home. Hopefully, UF is undefeated to make it feel even better.
They will be exposed soon enough.
Kansas St has proven much more than uf. They beat OU in Norman! Anytime you need to take your QB out to run gadget plays you don't have a good offense.
Uf has a good defense and has made some nice special teams plays but sneaking by some very average teams like TX am, offense less LSU and a hurt Lattimore means little.
OU's offense wouldn't last outside of the Big 12 conference, lol.
Do some of you guys just look at the scores? Before OU started the season they were hit with losses to multiple olineman, including starters. They now have lost just about all of their reserves for the yr, lol.
Fools gold my man.
UF probably isn't the 2nd best team in the country.
But, they definitely are one of the most well coached teams. Also, a team that doesn't beat itself is the #1 component to making that step to being an elite team.
UF has been consistently good in all phases, except for the passing gm. They haven't beat themselves yet in a gm. If that continues, they will be in every ball gm.

MUCH better in what areas exactly? Ufs offense is no where as good as FSUs. But i would like to hear you elaborate on how UF is a MUCH better team than FSU.
The only somewhat respectable defense Florida State has played thus far was NC State. We know how that ended.
Other than that, have they been tested at all? Clemson has a very good offense, but their defense is pretty awful. Every other team that they've played doesn't even have a pulse.
So how can you say that Florida's offense is nowhere near as good as Florida State's? Florida has been good in several respects on offense, especially ball control. We run time off the clock and slowly move the ball. We're never going to put up a bunch of yardage, but that doesn't mean our offense isn't effective.
The two teams' defenses aren't comparable. Florida State has played one good offense all season - Clemson. Florida has played Texas A&M (who is better than most of you seem to think), Tennessee (good offense, awful defense), and and South Carolina (pretty good offense). They've scored 17, 20, and 11 points.
And yeah, the best team should win in November barring injuries or suspensions. I'm looking forward to it. If I'm wrong, I'll gladly take my serving of crow. I don't think I am, though. It's pretty obvious who the better team is at this point.
I couldn't be happier than I am seeing you guys buy into the sham. It will make our game that much worse for you.

So much bitterness...
Arrogant fans, I'll give you that, but IMO this team has been very level-headed this year thanks to the mentality instilled by our HC.
A lot of you have mentioned UF's offense isn't great, which I'll agree with to a degree. What's important to note though is that our QB has done a very good job managing the O and minimizing mistakes, unlike last year, which you all should be familiar with if your watched the UF/FSU game. This, coupled with our success on D and special teams, has led to a 7-0 record thus far. I think that our O is improving as the season progresses and so far I've been really pleased with our new O-coordinator.
I'm looking forward to the trip to Tallahassee, although in all honesty I'm concerned about playing in a hostile Doak. I do think it helps that our squad has road wins in the tough environments at Texas A&M & Tennessee this season, though. It ought to be a good game, I look forward to being in Tallahassee and hope for a better Gator performance than the last time I was there in '10. See y'all soon.
Why am I bitter? We are going to just keep beating you.
Unless you think Driskel is going to be your savior. Lol. He's a poor man's Xavier Lee.
