He is such a tool! He is so pissed off because he was not even close on his predictions and he had to take Geno's jock strap off from around his head! Prove em all wrong EJ!!!
Glad I watched the draft on NFL network. Mayock called EJ a darkhorse right before the Bills picked him. NFL Network >>>>> ESPN
Mayock was on fire in the first round...he predicted about 6 or 7 on the air and got em right..although his mock draft was different he was on pointin round 1
So much better coverage than ESPN.
Understatement of the century. Their coverage is so superior in every way. I feel bad for Gruden, who I like. He's surround but a bunch of idiots.
I thought it was hilarious one of his criticisms was completion percentage...EJ, if I'm not mistaken, has the highest completion percentage in FSU history... McShay is a DA
I find it funny espn doesn't even involve him in the first day of the draft lol I would assume it so he doesn't make dumb comments like he did yesterday and embarass himself and espn
The coverage yes. But for entertainment, no. Watching McShay and Kiper get hammered was quite entertaining. And the Kiper/Gruden matchup was, at times, magical. It seemed to me that Gruden thinks Mel is in way over his head. Plus, "Chucky" (Gruden, for those who aren't familiar with Gruden's nickname) had the same look as the one Mark May gave Lou Holtz when Holtz was nearly having a breakdown after we beat ND in the 2011 bowl game. Let's call it the YAP (you are pitiful) look.

After all the comparisons, Page 2's Patrick Hruby breaks down the matchup between coach and doll.
Kiper and his "blue book" what a waste! lol now thats a joke!
I have a new enemy. If you see this guy, tell him Uncle Nash is looking for him. I want to show him the inner workings of my .41 caliber revolver. If he's a shotgun enthusiast, my over and under 12 gauge likes to go for a walk from time to time, and will escort him down to the ribbah.
Oh, and I want Kiper's job. I can prolly do better than he does, by having Bandy the Seminole cat walk over all the draft prospects, and crap indiscriminately on random faces. We'll call my show: "Uncle Nash's Caturd Sheet." I predict a huge hit.

Mcshay has hated on fsu for a long time. It is like he is pissed that someone at fsu stole his girl in college.
I remember his byu prediction years ago. That was good stuff.
Outside of Bob Ley, Chad Ford, and a select few others, ESPN has been replaced by the likes of MLB Network, NFL Network, NBA TV, and NHL Network. The sport specific networks are better SPORTS INFORMATION. ESPN is only worth live game coverage.

I feel ESPN puts more focus on the anchors/talking heads and entertainment rather than content. It seems that outside of a very small minority in Bristol, there are no real reporters or journalists who conduct research and build stories.
But I still watch ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3, etc so I just contribute to the machine.
Yeah, I forgot NFL Network was broadcasting it until the first ten picks or so were over in the first round and I was thinking...wow...I really wish I didn't have to watch Kiper babble about nothing...and then I remembered!
I find the problem with a lot of the analysis (both with draft and actual game) is how over-simplistic they are. When they go through highlights, they just say "oh what a play!" and SportScience is probably the most insignificant segment ever (we KNOW QBs can throw it hard...and there is never any real true basis for comparison).
