So far and in the bcs picture?
We could hang with either for sure.
More entertaining than last years games, for sure. Not much changes with the rankings, LSU to 4 Bama to 5
I thought we wanted Alabama to go undefeated?
It is a good rivalry game.
Plus a LSU win makes it a KSU vs Oregon in the Natty.
"Sometimes when you bring the thunder, you get lost in the storm." -Kenny Powers
A Bama loss effectively ends our chances of making the BCS CG. They will get in (again) without winning their division and the winner of the LSU-UGA SEC CG will get in ahead of us. And that's assuming ND/Oregon/KState all lose at least once.
So I know that I should be rooting for Bama, but I just can't make myself do it. I really hate Nick Saban.
Yes I too won't root for Bama but I assumed we needed them to win out.
Yeah we needed Bama to win but our goal is to win out, that's all that matters now.
I think Gary and Vern got wood talking about Les Miles only home loss at night. "Wasn't that after the concussion game"? They'll all say that's what happens when you play in the mighty sec. I'd give my left nut for someone else to win the natty.
I agree, and I don't think it's possible for FSU to make it to the NC game. I just like to see what ever is best for FSU.

Ah, and now all those bonehead decisions come back to bite Les Miles. It's a shame too, because they have dominated this game and made Bama look totally beatable.
I'm not going to bash him, but I don't want to see my QB crying period, win or loss.
People complain about Jimbo. At least it is not Les.
I'll take passion over machismo thanks.
I wouldn't want to be interviewed if I'm an "emotional mess" like that. At least if wasn't because someone died.
there's a shock to absolutely no one
Miles made more boneheaded moves in this one game than Jimbo made in the past month!!
The Future is Now.
I wish Jimbo were a lot more like Les when it comes to taking chances. Maybe not a fake fg on a 4th and 12, but Les coaches to win and definitely has the killer mentality. I thought on the last drive LSU's D should have been aggressive from the start and not just on the last play, but other than that I like him a lot as a coach.
I'm oddly honored to have drawn fire from you.
Agreed. With a safer LSU mentality, I think Bama wins by more.
the D on that last drive is textbook John Chavis
Doesnt matter what Bama does or we do, we are not going to the MNC game. No chance.
You think crying is showing passion? How about showing leadership? Call it what you want but if my Chief had ever cried in front of me I'm not sure how I could of really followed him after that. You've got to have more composure then that.
There are different kinds of tears, guess not everybody sees it that way. I don't see that as "loss of composure."
McCarron didn't cry while leading his troops. He was overcome after winning the war. Huge difference, but some people can't see tears as associated with anything but weakness and sorriness. The world is not black/white simple, guys.

Getting back to the subject at hand, I observed the following about Alabama:
1. Bama is who we thought they were - great OL, top flight D and clutch QB.
2. Bama IS NOT who Bama fans think they are (better than '94 Huskers/'01 Canes)
3. Bama is probably the best team in the SEC but there is not that much separation between Bama, LSU, UF, UGA and a healthy USCe. If Bama played a tougher inter-divisional SEC slate, it'd have a loss IMO.
4. TA&M could upset a spent Bama squad in a letdown game next week.
FSU Football. Making cool the new swag since 2013.
