Can't speak for everyone else [UF or FSU fans], but sorry, I'm not nervous about what Miami does, or will do.
I have no idea why you guys think so highly of your football program to think that it would effect us. We were recruiting just fine when Miami was winning National Championships.
So what you're saying is you were getting recruits while we were getting rings?! Doesn't sound like a good statement to me. Not starting anything just pointing out what you just said.
It is what it is, you have more championships than us. I'm not debating that, nor do I care really. FSU fans and Miami fans arguing over the 80's and 90's in 2012/2013 is one of the dumbest things I have witnessed on the internet.
My statement is in reflection of the Cane poster thinking we're getting nervous that we will never land a good recruit from South Florida again. Florida State has ALWAYS recruited at an elite level, no matter how good Florida or Miami were.
Play on front of mama for 4 years then move back in with her. Or come to Fsu and play on tv for mama for 3 years then buy her a new home with your first round bonus
Mama is the only one that will be watching him play in the stands
LMAO on this one let me know whenyou can even reach our level in the NFL.
I never said you would be able to land one again. Reread so you do not get it confused. I simply said it is going to get tougher.
They always crack me up with the 5 championships talk, what's funny is most were probably only fans for 1 or 2 of those games and may be too young entirely. I wasn't an fsu fan growing up as my dad was a gator and I grew up in NC, didn't really care too much one way or the other. I remember watching Charlie ward play a little bit as I was around 7-8 yrs old and remember the '99 season very well, but bragging about those championships is such old news and so irrelevant that it reeks of desperation to constantly bring it up. It's fine if you are proud of your teams history, but its ridiculously weak to constantly bring it up so far removed from that time.
FSU -->----->> The Unconquered Uprising
I agree, it will get tougher if Miami builds up any success on the football field.
Florida State will still manage to pull in Top 10 recruiting classes regardless.
That has NEVER been an issue for us, like, EVER, even when Bobby Bowden was trying his hardest to destroy the program by hiring morons.
Well I have seen all of the Titles and I am like 47, and you do realize we have Played in 10 National Title games right , so I remember when you guys played like in 1999 but we were last in a Title game in 2003.
Most Miami fans don't live in the Past we state facts just like ND and Bama and Nebraska and Oklahoma and all the rest of teams who have dominated in the Past, Heck I for One still can't understand why you guys only have 2 when you have had a lot of Talent just like Miami and UF that have come thru your program/
This pointless thread is STILL going?! I'll check back in tomorrow. Good luck to everyone.
"I never knew I had a foot until I noticed it was on your neck"
"England expects that every man will do his duty."

And there are many programs that have had major talent that doesn't have any. 5 is very impressive but 2 is good...
Antoine Smith part 2........ Minus being a bust:)
Screw your education argument! We get the BTW boys because we have FAMU!
Dont go, this thread rocks!
Famu got some bad ones! Id probably go to fsu just for that to.
The women are Omg
ALL ABOUT THE U
Yea boi... They on that too!
You don't even need FAMU if you're looking for women. Plenty of that at FSU. FSU has 23,000 women. FAMU has 13,000 students.
