This is my first time seeing him. He is very impressive. He's a good example of an elite QB being able to carry a team with lesser talent. Can you imagine what he would do at an elite program?
With Louisville coming to the ACC, I hope we don't have to deal with him lol.
Will be 1st QB taken in 2014. We will never see him!
We'll be in the Big 12 anyway.
I'm hoping for 2 things...1 that we make it to ACC next season and 2 that Teddy comes back for his senior season! He may really want to play against and potentially at Miami and/or FSU
L'ville would have ate our lunch in the Orange Bowl
A downvote from an ACC apologist, mkay.
Interesting to hear the name Calvin Pryor. If I remember correctly, we recruited him (and some posters were high on him) but took some other guys. Looks like he was second team all Big East (for whatever that's worth). We took Waisome, Smith, Williams and Brutus.
BTW Louisville looks really good tonight. Thought the Gators would have shown up a little more for this one.
We could have scored with them. we are also deeper at db. That showed tonight. They do not have 5 guys that can cover. i am not sure they have more than 3 . Watkins isn't a very good cover corner.
When did you get so soft and positive? New years resolution?
No they wouldn't have
Teddy always stays cool and calm. He is a very talented quarterback who seems to play his best ball under pressure.

He's pretty good no doubt, but let's not get crazy .

Which already makes scouts ogle.
But teddy doing so well makes Uncle Luke unhappy! :)

I down voted you again for crying about it
Was watching the game with Newberg last night. I asked him where he thought Miami would be if they got Teddy. He would have been good for that program from a talent standpoint as well as making a dent in South Florida. He was a popular kid with his peers.
Yup, that was probably Randy Shannon's biggest whiff
Shannon didn't whiff. Teddy decided to go elsewhere once Shannon was fired
Good thing Miami didnt get Bridgewater and a spread offensive coordinator. TB and Duke in that kind of O would be impressive.
Bridgewater becomes laser focused when the heat is on, EJ the opposite. That's the main difference.
EJ can't set his feet either, its amazing how terrible his footwork is in that pocket
That OL last season must have really killed his confidence in the pocket, that or he is like Rix in that he gets too jacked up on gameday
He had been better, too. Really improved on "happy feet" this year, until Florida/NIU games
Bridgewater plays in an O system that is tailored for his talents/strengths. Jimbo doesn't tailor his O to EJ's strengths *as much*, e.g., Jimbo still insists on running the O that he (Jimbo) wants to run independently of who the QB is and what their strengths/weaknesses are. I noticed that all of Louisville's passing plays took no more than 3 seconds to develop and Bridgewater didn't have to make really tough throws, e.g., passes across the field, or passes that required an enormous amount of armstrength. Don't get me wrong, Teddy has nice touch on the ball, but the passing plays were simple.
p.s. I have no idea how L'Ville was able to run the ball successfully against UF's front 7... except that perhaps the pass really set up the run. I also noticed that L'Ville decided to stretch the field *vertically* against the UF D rather than horizontally.
