Could passably be a top draft pick next year. Seems like he's only getting better.
Rumor out there that he's declaring this year.
He has huge freaking balls. He's getting destroyed tonight
Man I hope so for our sake.
If he declares do we get a shot at chad Kelly or whatever his name is?
Swag Kelly? Maybe. They also have Stoud, or is it Stroud?
if chad kelly ever manages to start a game I hope you guys shatter him, prima donna b[$% is all he is to me lol.
I hope he returns. They'll be top 10 and give us an epic early season game. We need a great game week 4. We can beat them!!!
His stock will never be higher than it is tonight.
Same with deandre Hopkins. I hope he leaves. 191 yards against lsu has to draw scouts attention.
This Clemson team is Legit, and has some outstanding players. To get a win over LSU without Sammy Watkinsms. In my eyes one of the tops WR in the country, To me speaks volume about a Great team.

If I'm the GM of an NFL team, under no circumstances is he an option. He is too slow to be a running threat in the NFL and and too inaccurate to be a passing threat. He floats the ball too much, even on the beautiful completions (that doesn't work in NFL). You can't seriously look at the frozen ropes/pin point accuracy...that comes out of RG3's /Russel Wilson's hands and think this guy is going to be like them.
Honestly, he reminds me of Tebow... except he doesn't have the defensive talent Tebow had while @ UF. The only NFL level pass I seen in the 2nd half was the TD pass in the back of the end zone to bring them within 2.
Plus... with Al Davis passed, Mike Tannenbaum fired, and AJ Smith fired... which one of these future GMs/owners are going out on that limb, proving they are batshit crazy?
His best bet is to enjoy the final year of his college, where he could go for a Heisman and possibly compete for a NC, if he gets lucky... because his career in the NFL will be painfully short lived.

Exactly! And with this year's QB draft class so weak, he has no better chance to get drafted early then this year...
Tahj Boyd is better than any QB we've had since Chris Weinke!
With a Tahj Boyd we would be in the NC game right now!
Will he be a great pro?
Don't know, but if you look at the Sanchez's, Gabbarts etc., then you'll
realize that GMs aren't Gods when it comes to evaluation.
Given the pressure he was under tonight, he would shoot up my draft board
in a hurry.
How many college QBs could have done what he did tonight given the pressure he was under?
The balls Boyd floated were done intentionally. He made plenty big time throws last night
I'd agree with this. Don't forget LSU has a stellar defense and had him either sacked, hurried or on the run about 80% of the time. I'd say he played a HELL of a game. NFL? I don't know. Maybe not 1st or early round, but definitely drafted. From what I read he's pretty savvy, and could grasp the playbook better than Vince Young did.
Kid was a warrior for that game. Really grew into his marbles last night
I will take Boyd over Manuel all day everyday. Manuel could not take the beating Boyd did last night. Manuel would have had deer in the headlights look all night. Say what you will, but Boyd has progressed when Manuel hasn't.
Boyd has instincts and touch to make non traditional throws something we didn't see from our QB.
