There is a man named Nevin Shapiro because the Canes would have beat FSU today. Of course, play styles are different and our boys might have got more "jacked" by playing UM, but FSU barely beat a 6-6 team that lost to MTSU convincingly at home. We are years away from playing big boy football.
Excited to see FSU play in a BCS Bowl Game but I am not naive to think that this program is on the right track. These next couple of hires are crucial for Jimbo.
Am I being punked??? is there a hidden camera around my room somewhere? We score 31 straight on Miami. handed them their first 10 points. And had 2 touchdowns called back off of offensive P.I. calls. If we played Miami again I think it would have been more like 2010 down in Miami. 45-17.. once we figured them out, it was nothing they could do. enjoy this win. We are ACC champs. Back where we belong I must say. Go Noles
I actually think we would have gotten up for Miami more so than the GaTech game.
Too many Warchant type posters on this board now. Good grief.
FSU would have beaten Miami last night and any night that you name the time and place.
Did our guys play inspired and dominate the WHOLE game vs GT? No.
Did we win our conference title for the first time in the last 6 years? YES.
Are we where we need to be as a program after losing our DC to a HC position? No.
Is there room to improve and coaching decisions that will be made? YES.
Can we be happy with where we are knowing that our team could have easily given up after NCSU loss? ABSO-DAMN-LUTELY.
There's no need to second guess and continue to dwell on things we cannot control. We can control our thankfulness for our guys and our program. There are a GREAT number of teams that would LOVE to have our perceived "issues". We will correct them, move forward and grow from this season, and we still have one huge game left for these guys.
A Noles "fan" just put in writing that he's thankful we didn't have to pla Miami. This is what FSU fans have become?
Pathetic post, we would of beat the Canes by double digits again. We beat them in Miami, what makes you think they would of played better in the cold in Charlotte? We are likely to finish this year with 12 wins and ranked somewhere between 6-8, tough season to complain about imo.
