I know FSU's fan base is tuned into football with how this season is playing out, but who's excited for the start of basketball? What are you looking forward to when it comes to this year's team? Expectations?

I'm actually really excited for basketball, college and pro. FSU obviously has a lot of potential on this team, but I'm a Nets fan - this is the first time I've been excited for Nets basketball since the Jason Kidd years. Gonna be some serious fun.
I have a great feeling about college basketball. Snaer is the type of senior that could lead a team to really special things.
I for one am excited
Season can be special as FSU has a much talent as its had since the days of Sura, Cassell and Ward. Good or bad, I think the whole season sits in Ian Miller's hands at PG.
I'm certainly looking forward to it. I think this season hinges on how well Terrance Shannon comes back and if we have at least one oher player step up in the front court with him. I think we'll have good guard play, though I'm also curious to see who will take on the PG role. I definitely think this team will finish in the top 4-5 in the ACC, but if those things happen then it could be a special year.
Duke and UNC have good not great teams. I think FSU finishes 2nd in regular season. Then next year Pitt and the Cuse join, yikes
I can not wait for this season to start
I just want 20 total wins, 10 ACC wins, top 3 or 4 in the ACC, an ACCT win, at least one NCAAT win (preferably 2 and a Sweet Sixteen appearance).
As far as actual on-court play I want our turnover % to not be one of the highest in the country for a change but I hope the defense remains stout. A top 25 ranking would suffice. Doesn't need to be top 5.
Those are perfectly reasonable expectations.
I'll echo this...good post.
Inexperience off tbe bench is a concern to me. I'd love to see the TO #'s decrease, but I am going to have to learn patience.

I am excited about the season. Going to be fun! I expect our offense to be the best it has been in the Hamilton era with more consistency and and the D to play well as usual. While we may not have experienced depth, we have more talented depth. I expect this team to win 22-23 regular season games, finish top 2 or 3 in the ACC, win a game or 2 in the ACCT, be a top 4 seed and make it to at least the Sweet 16. Maybe those are a little lofty, but this team will be fuly capable of exceeding those.
Water is just beer that hasn't reached its full potential.
I think this team will have some major up and downs, largely due to a great deal of inexperience, but I do expect them to display the best scoring potential of any team under Hamilton. I also believe they are fully capable of competing for a 10+ win mark in the ACC. Lots of talent, depends how they come together and mature through those opening ten games.

Basketball is my favorite sport so I am more interested in it than football.

Florida State's first-year perimeter players are all underrated. Montay Brandon, Aaron Thomas, Devon Bookert will all have an impact.
Very excited about this season.
