Clemson sees FSU's cookie and ups the recruit at Letterman jacket.
I had no idea that could be done.

Wow.. SEC style recruiting
TREASURE COAST HIGH: "TITAN BORN TITAN BRED"
Nice hotel. NOT!!!!!
Letterman jacket? thats crap......
I thought they bought them chevy camaro's
Or 7 year old Escalades.
Pretty sure the recruits can only borrow those jackets while on their visits. Maybe someone in the know could tell us what recruits are allowed to be given during their visits (ie shirts, hats).

Clear violation. No gifts of any apparel or anything else allowed. Cookie cakes are, because it is part of the food allowance.
FSU should report them
"It's not the SEC conference vs. the ACC conference," "It's Florida State vs. Auburn." --Lamarcus Joyner
Give them those jackets, but what do they do with them if they don't go to Clemson? lolol
Should have held out for Spiller's lake house
Linked from Lipscombsports? Aww. Is it my birthday?
Ebay? Trade for tattoo?
"Dammit Kid! You weren't supposed to take a picture! How the hell are we gonna get away with everything else when recruits can't keep their mouths shut? You know what? Go home. You were never here!"
It looks really pathetic on Clemson and Miami's part for giving their kids cookie cakes after we did, even if this isn't anything new on their part. Perception.
Some of you guys would be very, very upset if you knew what actually goes on....
Knowing and having proof are two different things.
Proof?? Of what? You have no idea if they are giving that jacket to a recruit. FSU recruits take pictures wearing FSU jerseys all the time.
Wearing a jersey can be explained easy by saying he put on a jersey of one of the players or the coaches even said put this on and see how it looks. This picture however looks like a welcome kit you would see when you first get to the visit. Has a badge on it and looks undisturbed. If it a loaner so be it, no problem, but if this is for the kid to keep I think it is over the top. IMO
Given2fly- I hit down vote by accident scrolling on my phone. Sorry about that.
Certainly appears to be a gift. But, then again Clemson gives kids the use of houses on the lake if they are good, so maybe they don't even worry about the NCAA.
