I, like most Nole fans, have been longing for a return to the glory days of the
90's. The past decade has been, for better or worst, a disapointment. There were a few years where it might have seemed like we were there, or almost there...but IT somehow eluded us..
And as Coach Bowden's tenure came to an end..it seemed like our return to
relevance was just a distant dream. But i for one never gave up hope..i was excited to see Coach Fisher come on board and instill a new sense of confidence.
Now, with the past few years of success, especially on the recruiting front..I can see the promise of success. It has been a long time coming, but I am as confident as ever that we will return to Elite status.
I grew up watching Charlie run the "fast break" to a Heisman, Dunn juke his way to Seminole greatness..and Weinke lead us to the 1st wire to wire #1 ranking.
Now it's time for our return to greatness..we set the standard for every team during our infamous 14 year run. It Is Time... GO NOLES! ! !
I am waiting for my first taste of success. I vaguely remember watching the 1999 and 2000 (I was 11-12 at the time) title games, but I didn't start heavily following FSU until 2002. The best season I have been apart of was the 2003 team that went 10-3.
Needless to say, I consider myself a TRUE fan. The degree that I will (finally) receive from FSU this summer will be the proudest moment of my life.

If we get the offensive line figured out we will be back.
We have a very dangerous qb. A very capable backup.
Good runners (maybe not Dunn or Minor yet, but good).
A receiving corps like I've never seen. Dugans, Coles & Warrick were a better top three, but these guys go about 7 deep, and if Christian Green and Rashad Greene make strides, they actually might challenge the 99 group.
The d line is simply the best we've had since 99, and will probably be as good as any unit except that 96 group with Wilson, Bouleware and Adsworth all starting.
Linebacker is solid. If C. Jones and T Smith make strides, watch out.
The DBs have all world talent, though depth is a concern.
Kicker is one of the best inthe nation.
Literally the oline, tight ends and punter are out only question marks.
I'm very excited.
Any comic fans out there, check out Tart, written by a Seminole Grad, who is incidentally... me.
The OL will be fine.
The TEs don't have to play.
The punter is the only question mark.
