Will come out soon it seems. Good hire. He deserves it.

I knew this would happen quickly, but it's getting insane.

Within an hour is pretty crazy.
they'll be looking again in 3 years
Good hire. They will recruit Florida hard.
Will be good at Tennessee. Good for them!
That was a pretty obvious hire
Can we make a trade with UT? Jimbo for Strong?
"I never knew I had a foot until I noticed it was on your neck"
Should be a smooth transition for Tennessee as well. He will likely retain the entire offensive staff. Asking candidates to do this was a hold up for the Vols. He overhauls the defensive staff and they have some talent going forward. They have 6 Seniors on the DL next year. They need about 7 LB signees.
Charlie in Knoxville could be trouble.
I believe I saw a tweet that strong would remain at louisville, but can't remember who would take the utk job
That would be insane because Ron Duggans was in Tallahassee today recruiting kids to Louisville.
What fanbase will Jon Gruden troll next?
I think Strong, if he takes this job, is making a big mistake. You're moving into a position that has a poor recruiting base, a crappy campus, and a fan base with unreasonable expectations. I think he could hold out for much better.
Like I said, Tennessee will likely keep the offensive staff. So Dugans may well remain at Louisville.
Strong turned them down as did everyone else. Right now they're going back after Gundy and have interviewed Fedora. I think both will turn them down meaning UT will be in the same position as in 2010, hiring an up and coming coach from a mid-major..
He didn't troll anyone Tennessee fans are just delusional
I don't understand why we as fans can't see that all the drama is us, not the coaches.

Has to be getting time where Petrino + baggage is turning into a more appealing option than going for someone who will end up fired in 3 years.
I hate to agree, but I do. He's a phenomenal football mind.
I mean, if you are Auburn, what do you have to lose. Your program is in the pooper.
I agree at this point. The Vols are reeling. Bobby Petrino came out with some pretty humble releases after that incident. Who is modern America to hold an affair against a man. He's paid his pennance and he's twice as good as Fedora who is the Vols' next target
That is not the first time he has acted like that. It was a developing situation which he lied to his boss and side stepped hiring protcols for a blond. He has been an @$$ forever and it finally caught up to him. He treated the Falcons horribly and most that have come in contact in the business say his an a arrogant SOB. Its not the affair that people should worry about.... its side stepping policies/rules/ncca regulations for that he wants. If there was ever an issue, who could that school say with a straight face that they didn't know that man would put himself before everything and everyone else.
Interesting that Auburn and Tennessee aren't interested in Petrino. I think what he did to the school as far as liability will not be forgotten by other schools HR departments as well as schools presidents.
I wonder if he goes to nfl as an oc or takes over as a oc in college if the head coach were a defensive guy
