GO NOLES! / SCALP EM!
Agree 100% with everything here.
Hicks solidifies our 2 deep at DE if move him. Don't see him producing at TE
Mitchell will be buried at DT and has a chance to start from day 1 at RT. his size and athleticism would be great IMO. Would be Erving part deuce
Hart - please give this guy a shirt. He really needs a year to catch up developmentally and I agree with others that he has been unfairly criticized by many on here.
Mccalister - Do NOT move him. Has a chance to go in the first 3 rounds at DT
Newberry - he only has one year of college experience. Keep him at DE and let him continue to develop
What are people's thoughts on Abram at FB? Is he any good there? I didn't pay attention in his limited time on the field.
Not doubting that he actually said that to you, but that seems like a poor choice schematically since Joyner is such a boss playing safety at the college level.
Maybe that was the only way they could convince him to come back is by playing him at his likely NFL position, corner.
I do like the idea of Haulstead playing H back or TE a little bit. He is a phenomenal blocker but has gotten too big and slow for WR.
You want a 6'2" 210 lb wr at TE/H-Back?
He did get back closer to playing weight at the end of last year and looked much more explosive again.
"It's not the SEC conference vs. the ACC conference," "It's Florida State vs. Auburn." --Lamarcus Joyner
I think he was still 16 when he stepped foot on campus
23,000 dolphins are killed every year in Japan. For pest control. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KRD8e20fBo
If he's 210, then no. But I really doubt he's close to that.
He struggled in coverage IMO at DB but would be. Great LB in coverage
Since you said it how about JWJ at LB?
I kid I kid:)
Mcallister was one of our best dts near the end of the season. I could see our 3-4 front being Shanks( in the middle and Mcallister and Jernigan coming off the edges. Our goaline dline is gonna be just ridiculous. Shanks, Mcallister, Goldman, NLS and Edwards Jr will be sick. I hope Florida tries that 7 olinemen crap vs us this year.
"Some people think football is a matter of life and death, I assure you, it is much more serious than that."
Hicks moving back to de is interesting. i like him at te still due to size (270), and after his micro-fracture surgery i'm not sure if he'll be explosive enough to move back to de. that's a pretty tough procedure to come back from in a year.
Newbs is roughly 275 now, so adding another 15-20lbs this year wouldn't be out of the question for an ot move. but then you leave yourself thin at de. that is unless Bryant makes it in and shows he can be counted on to be a 5th de to provide depth.
Mitchell should consider the move to oline. he's likely not going to get much burn behind Tim, McCallister, Jacobbi, Eddie, NLS, Shanks, and possibly Bryant throwing his hat in the ring too. 6'4ish 305+ with long arms and to say we need big, athletic bodies at oline would be an understatement.
no clue on what to do at rt. i would like to have Matias out there, but then who do you put in his spot? Hart? not even 19 yet and likely nowhere near as strong and physical as Josue. can Denson come in during the summer and take that lg spot and not look back? Trickett has his work cut out for him yet again this year. oh and not only that, should Erving go down, we're screwed. something has to change with this oline recruiting.

Everyone knows my legal name is Stephen CaNOLEE Faircloth and I'm proud of my son Garrett, mostly because he is a foot taller than me.
Aw, downvoter, you missed my joke. I am a huge Canolee fan and I totally believe him when he says Cloth can contribute. I think Cloth does have to be considered a possibility for RT.
