WOW. Not since the days of Charlie Pell have I seen an uptick in recruiting like this...

The poster formerly known as 31-7. Understood by few, known by many, loved by all.
Freese is a really good coach. It doesnt suprise me at all.
Ole Miss is looking super fishy
Yeah, that's what it is. Really good coach taking over a really crappy school suddenly steals top level recruits from some of the heaviest hitters in college football.
Absolutely normal. Nothing to see here.
"It's not the SEC conference vs. the ACC conference," "It's Florida State vs. Auburn." --Lamarcus Joyner
I know for a fact of 4 SEC schools that $$$ could be attached too. I have never heard Ole Miss.... Doesn't mean its not true but I agree with above that Freese is a good coach.
Ole Miss has never been a significant player in recruiting. All of the things that are listed as advantages don't mean a thing to kids. Cute girls everywhere. Playing time in a lot of places. Hugh isn't that strong of a coach, and being a good coach doesn't mean anything in recruiting effectiveness. I don't know what is going on there, but every kid they want to be involved with suddenly involves them. Never a good sign. They saw the way Chizik skated by with massive violations and no one cares if they get caught. Wins are what matter.
Yup, easy business. Just wait, soon Stoops and Elliot will be stealing kids from Bama.
Actually, that's what got the NCAA to start to look at SMU many years ago. SMU was pulling in top recruit after top recruit, something a small school like that shouldn't have been able to do..
Ole Miss is finally doing business like the rest of the SEC. If you can't beat them....well you know the rest
We need to get a pool going for the over under of when they are placed on probation. I say 3.5 years and a real probation, not an OH ST half as#ed probation.
Ole miss alumni probably have more money than any D1 school outside of Oregon and Maryland
These threads are pathetic - I'm embarassed for y'all

FSU -->----->> The Unconquered Uprising
And for you.
Lol cmon man your better than this. Your as bad as the posters on WC that believe if we dont get every major recruit the team they commit to is paying for them. Or maybe its because they enjoyed being there.. Have you ever been to the grove? Its a great atmosphere. The cMpus is very nice and so are the women.
Freese has that program on the rise and assembled a staff full of good coaches and great recruiters.
Very true. i said this on another thread about them. Their Alums spend the cash to get what they want
Did they all hit the lottery in the offseason?
Exactly. Let's just say that Ole Miss is not known for their academic prowess and wealthy alumni.
Yeah, hold up.
I went to a game in Oxford this past year. The actual town is nice, but anything outside of it does certainly not scream "wealth." Mississippi is consistently ranked as the poorest and dumbest state in the entire country. Where are you guys seeing these "wealthy alumni"?
