RT @JFowlerCBS: #Alabama is hiring Mario Cristobal as O-line coach, per source. He's in Tuscaloosa today to finalize deal.
Insert Nelson here ("HA HA!")
GO NOLES! / SCALP EM!
I mean, Canes just have to be sick.
Wasn't he one of Coley's friends?
Went and checked out there board and found this gem from one of their posters by the name of Adrian21
"Just because he got a offer dosn't mean he is gone i mean how many times did we offer someody a job or other schools offer a coach nd he turns it down so dont be shocked either way"
someone then responded with "Cause its Alabama"
He then replies with:
"Yeah and we are UM, his home, his families true home, his alma mater i mean i can se him leaving now but Bama aint like end all be all they dont just get every coach they want"
Never be the last man off a sinking ship. Unless you're Coley and want to be the first man to jump on.

Deserve got nothing to do with it...
The meltdown is epic on every Miami site.
If AG swore to these kids neither he nor TRich were leaving, coupled with the Booker T debacle, I'd say AG's reputation in SoFla could be as bad as some said it was previously.
Poor Miami! doubt he stays at bama long will have another head coaching job soon!
Their trifecta of Golden, Coley, Cristobal has been broken up.
Now we have to battle Alabama in South Florida.
It was gonna happen regardless of who they got I think. They wanted someone with South FL ties so that they could recruit there.
We already was
Not really, It's going to be even harder to pull kids from South Florida now.
A few Gems
I hope he don't fall for it Saban just trying to break up the big 3 (Golden,Christobal,Coley) He know he ain't gonna be able to beat them on they turf. I think ur right... He wants to get a recruiting edge down here because him n coley are gonna wreak havoc this year and in the future...
He's not going anywhere. The future looks good for UM and if Al decides to leave , Christobal is next in line.
As long as we got golden
F**k Cristobal!!! unless he stays...
No rice & beans in Tuscaloosa... looks like a lateral move, probably better staying at Miami "IF" AG fails/dips could be next in line... Satan ain't going anywhere...
"Business Decision" is the classy way of saying "Sellout". However you want to phrase it, it's choosing money over family and loyalty.
Mario Cristobal going to coach in a state where they wouldn't piss on a illegal immigrant if they were on fire = sellout. Good luck Mario, make sure to carry proof of citizenship at all times.
Pretty desperate ploy by Alabama. Hiring a coach for the sole purpose of stealing Miami's superior recruits.
He's a pretty good coach too.
Besides the St. Thomas group, FSU didn't land a recruit with a Miami offer in Dade or Broward County while Coley and Gran were here. The other counties in south Florida, northward to central Florida, were/are manned by Odell and Dawsey. Dade and Broward have not been kind to us regardless.
