One of the challenges UF will face when they place us is that FSU will be their first tough road game. Their schedule has been more challenging than ours, no doubt; however, the three qualities teams they've played this year have been at home (LSU, USCe, UGA - in Jacksonville). Vandy and Tennessee are terrible. TAMU is ok. I know they're ranked, but the problem with bragging about a ranked SEC team (I think even Tennessee was ranked when UF played them) is that EVERYONE in the SEC is ranked at some point in the year. That's called SEC bias. The truth is the conference is not that good this year. Now, clearly, the ACC is wretched, but does FSU have the balance and the talent to beat anyone in the SEC? Of course they do. We lost to NCST. We all know that. We lost because we slept on them. Will we sleep on UF? Hardly. Are UF fans prepared to be upset by an ACC team. I sincerely doubt it. Prepare yourselves, people.
The Future is Now.
Ijs, you're right, you did sleep on them. Did we against Vandy? Or Kentucky? No sir. And we won't. Muschamp instilled in our team a business like, one game at a time aporoach. If we go undefeated into Tally, it will be a great game. Rivalry renewed. But if that really happens, you think we would lose to FSU? Our most hated rival? Ha
At aTm was a harder road game than at FSU. Kyle Field >>>> Doak.
These types of comments are super funny coming from FSU fans, this season.
Just let the season play out, lol.
Muschamp has turned you guys into a team that has looked terrible piling up a couple wins against other teams that look terrible. LSU 2011 beats LSU 2012 by 2 tds. Alabama beats them by 35. Alabama beats you losers by 3 tds.
It is a down year in the SEC and everyone forgot to tell the media. Still have yet to have one of the SEC mouth-huggers in this thread give me a marquee win by an SEC team out of conference.
So by this theory, FSU is also supremely over rated for beating a Clemson team, ranked 90 something in defense.
And losing to a very bad NC State team.
And for not beating a good out of conference team, too! Don't forget that! Bahaha butthurt, I mean cuthbert, your argument is so flawed
I'll be here win or lose buddy. I'm a good sport. And I can eat my crow. All of you, including cuthbert, better be back on ours to eat your crow if we win. If not, then we'll know who the REAL socially inept ones are

You're joking, right? I don't want to insult your intelligence because I'm trying to engage in respectful, intelligent discourse. But, you're joking, right?
You're right. We slept on NCST and you guys didn't sleep on Vandy or Kentucky. That's why you're #2 and we're #12. My point is that the chances that we sleep on you and are unprepared when we square off in Tally are exactly 0%.
I wonder what will be more shocking, disturbing, maddening (insert adjective): that you lose to an ACC team (oh, the horror!) or lose to FSU.
The best team will win. Despite the conference, despite the schedule, despite the rankings FSU is the more complete team and will emerge from a hard fought game against UF with a "W."
What's so funny about my comments? I said that UF will have played 3 quality teams (LSU, USCe, UGA), while we will have played one (Clemson). I'm sorry that the facts are funny.
Kyle Field >>>>>>> Doak. I wasn't kidding at all. You guys can barely, and usually do not, sell out games and the crowd and game experience are no where near Kyle Field. The home field advantage may work for the D2 teams you guys play but it doesn't do much against UF as they play in much more hostile environments. The aTm defense is not great but their offense is just as good as FSU's and statistically better in total offense. The FSU defense is ok, but UF has played two defenses that are better already and beat both of those teams where FSU has not faced a defense near as good as UF's. You guys are not the Noles from the 90s and no one fears you. You guys beat two of the worst UF teams in the last 20 years and now you think you run shit in this series, but you dont. The 2012 version of FSU is the same thing it has been the last 8 years... a pretender who chokes in the easy games they should win. Just for FYI these all show that Kyle Field is a tougher road game than FSU. Neyland is also listed higher on all them as well.

I'm going to assume that you're a freshman at UF and only heard about the UF/FSU rivalry. You weren't there, you didn't see it firsthand, it's not your fault. Just as you can't blame a small child for her ignorance about, say, foreign affairs, I can't blame you for your ignorance about The Rivalry. When you get older you'll learn new things, which should be exciting for you.
It's cute how you read that little Yahoo article about "The Toughest Places to Play" and came away thinking that Kyle Field is a super tough road atmosphere, whereas the Doak is not. According to your source Kyle Field is #10 while the Doak is #13. I can see the huge disparity there. Wow.
Now, while Kyle Field is a wild place on your average day, it's an madhouse when the Longhorns come to town. The same can be said for the Doak. Crazy atmosphere always; when UF comes to town, it's pure insanity. But you wouldn't know that because it didn't mention that in the article. Where do think UF would rather play, Kyle or the Doak? Don't answer that; it's a rhetorical question.
Additionally, even your source contradicts your interesting notion that the Doak doesn't sell out:
"Doak Campbell Stadium, Florida: Don't come here wearing Florida Gators gear. That's just asking for trouble. Doak Campbell Stadium is home to the Florida State Seminoles football squad, and it regularly packs in 82,000 screaming fans on football gameday."
Listen, as I said, it's not your fault that you don't know better. You're just a kid. I don't and won't blame you.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what happens when you have no rebuttal to facts. I am fully aware of the rivalry and I am in no way discounting the intensity of those games. Unfortunately for you, those games are no longer a part of the current FSU program and team. The comment was specifically about our toughest road game this year and you stated that FSU would be our toughest road game to which I proved you were wrong and showed that Kyle Field is a tougher road game than FSU. If you guys were the Noles from the 90s and killing teams every week then this may be a different conversation, but that is not the case. You guys are just not an elite team and like I have said since Jimbo was hired, you will not be until you get a real coach. I get it... this is your board so you have to do whatever you can to protect your team and what not, but at some point your delusions of grandeur must reach reality and you see that you guys are not a scary road game to play and you are not UF's toughest road game.
Didn't the same NCST team that beat Florida State, lose to a garbage Tennessee team by 2 TD's?
I am going by the video shown during games the last 8 years that you guys do not sell out every game, and even big games are not sold out. It was a running joke that I am sure you have heard. I would assume they would rather play at Doak as it is only a few hours up the road.
But you're not taking into account that Texas A&M isn't very good. They've only been ranked this year because they're in the SEC. Writer's can't help themselves. They see SEC and they wanna rank it. They've put Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas A&M, even Auburn in the top 25 at some point this year. Even Vandy was knocking on the door. Miss. St at #11!? C'mon. Going into Kyle, while loud, I'm positive didn't give UF quite the same adrenaline rush that they're going to get when they travel to the Doak.
Listen, while Ohio Stadium is considered roudier than the Swamp if I'm FSU I would rather play there than the Swamp. And that's just being honest. I don't care what these articles say, FSU's toughest road game will always be the Swamp. Please use your brain next time.
Yes, our bad, we slept on NCST.
It's not even debatable. FSU is UF's toughest road game this. By a mile.
Just to get this straight: we own the bragging rights because we've won the last two. However, you guys say we beat "2 shitty" Gator teams. What about this year? Are you prepared to say that this is a "great" Gator team? If so, please say so. It's important because when the season's over I want to know if I should say that we beat "3 shitty" Gator teams 3 years in a row, or "2 shitty" Gator teams and one "great" team over the course of the past 3 seasons. It's all in the details.
You're not comprehending the reason why many believe that the aTm gm was/is the toughest road gm.
Atmosphere, noise, nerves, etc won't be as big of a factor in late November. Driskel, by that time, will have gone through that already.
The aTm gm was Driskel's first career road start. It was Pease's first time taking his offense on the road, as well as Davis and the oline unit.
You do know that aTm has constant sellouts, right? Not just for one or two games like Doak does? And the stadium literally shakes from it being so loud? Okay, just checking.
Good point. I'll give you that.
How did this turn into a discussion about TAMU and their wonderful home game atmosphere. I couldn't be less interested in that program. I'm talking UF and FSU and I am TELLING you that playing at Doak will be tougher for the Gators than playing at Kyle. How can you not see/understand/admit this?! I can acknowledge that FSU playing at Clemson or at Oklahoma, while incredibly tough, is not the same as playing in the Swamp. Any newbie could tell you that. If UF is as confident as you guys about playing at the Doak (I can hear them now: "Thank God we're not playing at Kyle!") then they're in for a VERY long afternoon.
Listen, I've already given you the following:
1) Your schedule has been much more challenging than ours. Fact.
2) You deserve to be ranked anywhere from #2 to #4. My opinion.
3) You will win the SEC east and play Bama in the championship. High probability.
I'm not here arguing for the sake of arguing. All I'm doing is stating the obvious: that the FSU game will be the toughest road game of the year for UF. Not even close.
But who cares, really. We already have the three-peat against UM; next up UF. Bring it on, boys.
