A flat-out brawl broke out in USC's football locker room after the Trojans lost to Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl, multiple sources have told ESPN.
He has one more season to get them back. I suspect he will.
If not, Haden's next hire will allow USCsr to once again rule the college football world.
There is a staggering amount of talent on that team. Staggering. Once the santions end then there will be adequate depth as well.

The AD should fire him now. Just save some time and get on with the inevitable.
This isn't that big of a deal in my opinion, just maybe a little more so since all the other shady stories have hot lately
FSU -->----->> The Unconquered Uprising
Then combine that with the teams lackluster performance in the bowl and them arriving an hour and a half last for the manadorty dinner you notice a trend
I'm from the SC board, and yes i agree that SC has the talent. I also agree that Kiffin will get it together this year, as he loves SC too much for him to try the same things he did this past year. Hope you guys don't mind me being around. Feel free to ask any USC questions or recruit questions. I was looking for some Matthew Thomas insight on here but i found this thread instead (:

There are certainly mixed feelings between us USC fans on Kiffin, but most understand that he is relatively young for a HC and he has recruited well, therefore most of us are being patient. Next season is his last chance imo.
the sanctions will gut there depth they will be a 3 loss team for at least 5 years - only reason it isnt worse is that they own CA
It's already gutted at 75.. and the fact that there is no tackling allowed in practice made the team look worse. They have talent right now to reach a BCS bowl, just a matter of executing. Next years class is the last with sanctions by the way.
Welcome. I always respected the SC program and tradition, FWIW.
Our mods believe Matt Thomas is a FSU/UM fight right now.
As for Lance, err, Lane, I'm a Raider fan so my opinion of him isn't without bias. Can't stand the guy and I continue to be mystified by his employment, anywhere honestly.
That makes two Raider fans! Yes, his stay wasn't great at the Raiders but i try to only judge the work he has done at SC. To an extent he has done well during sanctions, not including issues of the field.
I heard some news about Thomas the other day and it said that his mom was not going to make the OV with him this weekend to SC but he convinced her to come out because SC is serious in his recruitment and that it would come down to a business decision, as SC has had many successful NFL linebackers. I doubt he goes to SC but that news kinda gave me hope. Still down to UM/FSU imo.
My condolences. Unfortunately I am too
Glad to know there are still fans toughing it out with me!
Agreed I do too - I always liked USC and sad to say I like the Raiders too.
I was at the 98 game @ your house. Was a tough game 14-7 and your DB (Kelly the CB I think) dropped a sure pick 6 that would have tied it.
This has turned into a sad thread...ijs
Never knew i'd find fellow Raiders on here haha. And yes, i think it was Kelly who dropped it. But yeah, if any of you nole fans have questions regarding SC i'd be willing to help. You guys seem like a great group.
I remember that game. 97 opener. That game was scary as hell. Don't know many other teams that would open up with a cross country trip to play USC despite the fact they weren't a powerhouse yet. I remember praying Minor would get up to speed after watching Dee Feaster.
Those CBs gave us fits, McCutcheon and Kelly.
As for the Raiders, I think bright days are ahead. One more year of purging bad contracts and we could be respectable. We're taking our medicine now after years of trying to reload instead of rebuilding. Good to know you guys are fellow fans! Upvotes for the silver and black.

Totally agree on the Raiders. I'd say give Pryor a shot next season.
The guy is a snake and everybody knows it. I wouldn't be surprised if the seniors saw a change in his attitude once the season was "over". It could have been his tone in his speeches, his attention to detail, or his focus and participation during practice.
I'm curious, maybe the USCw guy can respond, but is Kiffin getting as much heat out west and Bobby Bowden did his final years here? I mean USCw starts out the year ranked #1 in the country, end the year losing to a 6-7 team in the Sun bowl..
They lost because Georgia Techs interim DC was a complete badass. Can't fault Lane for not being able go out coach that guy. Freaking mastermind.
