UF has now lost 5 of 19 from Muschamps first class to transfer. Muschamp was quoted as saying he was a good student and teammate. Sounds like he might not be happy about Hill leaving. On my phone and can't link it, so someone else please do.
It was my understanding that during his recruitment he really wanted to go to OSU but was pressured into UF. If someone's heart isn't in it this is bound to happen.
He was always a great frame and a 40 time. He had all his development in front of him and he just got discouraged. Sucks for him and UF.
Another one bites the dust. Darn
FSU -->----->> The Unconquered Uprising
Story is the 14th UF transfer under Muschamp.
Wouldn't be shocked to see him end up at Ohio State.
It's funny bc you said the exact opposite on our board. Anyways, Story looked the part but didn't play like it. Combine numbers and a great frame don't make you a good receiver. The two freshmen WRs had already surpassed him. He read the writing on the wall.
I think USF might get another ex-gate.
GO NOLES! / SCALP EM!
I do, too
He won't end up at USF or any in state school.
Aka "He was trash and wasn't going to get any PT." Of course...
A few other former Meyer/Muschump commits ended up at USF. Why are they not allowed? WR Chris Dunkley and RB Mike Blakely come to mind.
USF got Dunkley from them
Muschamp let Blakely go to Auburn, the team he originally wanted to sign with.

That's because they allowed it.
Josh said that he's not going to be allowed to transfer to any in-state school.
Yes, but I thought he was going to go to USF, and was allowed if he wanted too. If not, why did he visit twice and USF reported it was a done deal? Then Auburn broke out the check book like usual and he changed his mind lol

Ok I think I have heard FU pull that before in the past. It is just of late they did not seem to say that to their transfers. USF got a good one and almost two from them is why I asked.
Osu probably won't have room
As a surfer, I think you have the best screenname EVER. haha
You just cant read. Im saying the fact that he didn't stick with it sucks for him and Florida. On your board I was commenting on reality. Saying since Story had given up it was best for Florida for him to leave.
I remember wanting this kid at fsu bad. Was pretty shocked he signed with uf and not osu. Oh well. Best of luck wherever he goes
With few exceptions, (the Penn st kids, Moore) most transfers leave because they are busts. There were people who had doubts about Story in hs.
As to Muschamp's first class, he can thank captain Lithium for having to scramble to put a class together. Urbie tolerated much more 1980's ou sooners type of off the field conduct than Muschamp does. I have reason to think there have been multiple failed drug tests by the future transferee. No, this is not form personal knowledge. I do not work at a drug lab in hogtown.
Additionally, I also have reason to think he had not shown much in practice. So he may be a "burner" that is not nearly as good as initially thought or a burner in a way that helps the team.
