I'm not in principal against the move but Joyner's size is more natural at CB. I just want to see the 4 best DBs on the field. And we are loaded at DB (IMO).

Joyner didn't have a great year in 2012 but in 2011 he was damn good. If we are going to a primarily Nickel scheme then I could see it,
but even if it starts out this way in the spring I could see it changing if we don't get the safety play we need. Also I wonder if the Nickel will primarily be a 4-2-5 or a 3-3-5?
4-2-5 in theory makes sense. Jones/Telvin @ LB and leave the DLine. Awesome speed on the back 7.
Having Joyner move to CB allows Pruitt to run multiple sets on D... Bascially Joyner could line up anywhere in the backfield on any given play allowing multiple looks in the secondary....shift from cover 2 to man-free; drop into 4-2-5 etc, etc...
