Today I'm getting popover ads that cover my full screen on the mobile site. The banner ads along the top when I'm a paying subscriber are annoying enough, but this seems to be going a bit overboard. Maybe this isn't the right place, but figured it would likely be noticed.
Other than that, love the site and think you guys do a great job!
"Don't mistake lack of talent for genius." Type O Negative
Hills hire Hams are actually pretty good but I don't need 247 mobile to sell me them or cars or liquor.
I thought the "track your location" tags were bad. It's getting worse.
Hope they don't last
Not one to complain normally because I understand advertising is part of the business, but this is just bad. I mean we do pay you guys so its not like YouTube where you make your money straight off advertising so is this really needed?
No. It's an issue that popped up (literally) yesterday and I emailed Support about it and they said the developers have been notified.

Awesome. Thanks for the help as usual Josue.
Why does anyone have to use the mobile Site? I don't understand.
Thanks for looking into it Josh!
Because I read the site on my iPhone and iPad a lot and don't want to use my laptop all the time. Why would using the mobile site be a problem? I don't understand what you don't understand.

How many hit the X below the actual X? :/
Not always around a computer. It's easier and more convenient to check on my phone during a down time.
BTW, I might have to try that recipe/
Agreed. I'm on either on my phone or ipad 90% of the time I'm on the site. I very rarely use my desktop besides when I'm publishing and article.
I run the full site through my Razr Maxx. I have not used the mobile since Blackberry.
I mean Blackberry as in 4 years ago.
I _can_ view the full site on the iphone, but the mobile site is optimized for the screen size of phones and is much easier to use.
I don't have any issues on either service with the full site, and my browser makes them fit and work. If your native broswer won't handle it, try Opera.
I wasn't being a smart ass or causing a phone war. I really thought the mobile sites were for flip phones.
The full site fits and works with Safari and Chrome, but the mobile version sizes the buttons and such to be easier to use with fingers vs mouse. If the full site works fine for you, that's great, I just find the mobile site easier for me to use on a small screen with my fingers.
The mobile site looks identical to the full site, its just scaled to a phone.
I use my DROID 95% of the time to check out 247. Just a lot more convenient for me.
Maybe I am thinking about the old mobile Rivals site.
Yeah, that one is completely different. The format on my phone looks just like it does on my laptop.
Mine too, and I don't have ads with Ad Block.
Wait, can you see sigs from your mobile?
Actually, no, I don't think you can. But you can see the smile things and photos etc. that are linked to the thread or posted directly to the thread just like it's displayed here.
