After a little research, I stumbled upon his senior highlight tape at Jacksonville's Lee High School. Kid isn't a bad athlete at all, and blocks well for his size. A lot of potential in his body imo. Let's remove the stars for a second. There is a recent run of too big tight ends growing into starting Tackles. Maybe we stumbled upon a diamond in the rough. I am not claming he will be, but let's just see how he progresses throughout the spring and fall camp.

Nice thanks for posting
What is his size?
For OT we need size, I see us playing 6'2/3" guards in the future because we don't recruit OL evenly.
If he is over 6'5" I am ok if we take him. Under that no thanks.
he is listed as 6'7 290.. he is already on campus practicing with the team, So I know Vic has a hold of his diet and workout prcedures. Maybe our "walk-on" turns out to be a hidden gem. I hope so,but could be just wishful thinking on my part.

O I thought you were talking about a '14 prospect .
My nephew graduated with Wallace
N/m I see Wallace is a senior, not a freshman.

Does it matter what year he is? If we offered him a ship if he turns out good would there be any red tape from the NCAA if we wanted to keep him a few years?
The n/m part from my post was because I had originally asked what year he was. When I didn't get an answer, I Googled it and found out he was a senior. Then I edited my post.
But since you asked, I have to imagine the NCAA wouldn't let him play beyond his senior year unless we red-shirted him.
Eligibility clock runs regardless of scholarship status. He's in year 5 of his 5 years.
His highlight tape says 2010 so how is he a rs Sr? I have been trying to figure this out all day. It seems he should be a rs Sophomore.
If he graduated with the class of 2010, then he would have spent the 2010, 2011, and 2012 seasons in college. FSU's website has him listed as a Senior. I suppose they could have made a mistake...
The Florida State University Official Athletic Site, partner of CBSSports.com College Network. The most comprehensive coverage of Florida State University on the web.
FWIW Rivals has him listed as class of 2009.
He should be a senior this upcoming season, because he graduated in 2009. Here is an article about him from 2009
Florida Statem thankful for the opportunity.
