of nothing but SEC teams.
Danielle Lyn interviews Northwestern athlete JoJo Robinson after day 1 of the 2013 South Florida Express tryouts.
I wonder if all the people in the other JoJo thread still really like him?
Lol. You guys would be wise to top getting attached to recruits.

Happens all the time nowadays, Patrick Peterson Lil brother Avery Johnson was the first person I ever heard committed to one school but have a different top three.

Kid has talent for sure, but goes down with the slightest breeze. I question his toughness to play defense. He isnt worth the headache to follow a whole year IMO
No one is, anymore. I used to love recruiting. Now it's a chore. I only keep up so I can be knowledgeable. Not for the fun of it like I used to.
I still like following it, but I definitely dont get attached to a kid that says he is favoring or committed to FSU. I might follow his progress a little more than others and thats it unless he is a stone cold lock.
The SEC is just a monster right now. They have that MNC streak and two networks slurping them every step of the way. The kids eat up the hype and it becomes a self feeding machine. Its getting sickening when kids can barely describe why they like the SEC, all they know is that they like the SEC. The perfect scenario for us would be to topple a SEC team in the national title game. Who knows when that can happen though.
Lulz that is what I noticed on his film. He would go down before anyone was even near him sometimes.
Is it just me or does it get progressively worse every year with recruits like this? I'm to the point where I just want to take a scholarship away from any kid that lists a top school list but assures that he's still committed. NO YOU ****ING AREN'T! How is it that so many kids these days have no concept on what a commitment is? It's fine if you want to look around and make an informed decision....BUT YOU ARE NOT COMMITTED TO FSU!!! Can we just take all kids that say shit like this off the commitment list? I mean they're going to have another announcement anyway (these kids always do) to reaffirm whether they're committed or to switch. We can put him back on the list after he has another announcement day....

I know I probably sound like a broken record, but from now until September, I would look at what prospects we are in that top 3-5 for, see which players are really good, maybe be interested in what players are higher on our board than other. I really would not get caught up in "commitments" until after the regular season is over. As stupid as it sounds, the commitments really mean nothing. There is nothing to keep them to their word, most of them take visits all over regardless of who they are committed to. If we get a commitment before September, I would take it as "nice, we must have a decent lead here" and be happy with it. Of course there are certain kids that you know won't screw around and normally those offensive lineman and quarterbacks, and maybe few die-hard fans, but that is about it, and you won't know who those kids are until months after they "commit."
"Some people think football is a matter of life and death, I assure you, it is much more serious than that."
Pretty much, that's why the coaches have to constantly recruit "commitments" as well as uncommited prospects year round and see who works out for them. Some kids get lets attention and want more, some are content and know what they want, and some want to play the game. I think our coaching staff has done an outstanding job and will continue to better.

If they just drop the word "commitment" and replace it with "reservation," much freaking out will stop. That's all these are. They are reservations for a spot in the class, rather like for a table in a restaurant. And you don't have to show up, not at all. In fact, It's extra nice if you tell the restaurant in advance that you aren't coming.
