Great South Florida recruiter for Marshall, has good relationships with coaches in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade county. Born and raised in Belle Glade played college football at WVU and Florida A&M, has pulled numerous kids from South Fl to go up to Marshall ( AJ Leggett and Angelo Jean-Louis). He's also connected to Jimbo, Trickett and Sanders, he's played QB in college and NFL. He's a players coach and knows how to establish that relationship with the kids and parents to get the kids out of Miami. As of today I know that Jimbo has his information from Sanders who's been in contact with Jajuan, this is the hire we need for FSU.
Big fan of his. Would love to land him and keep our foothold in south Florida
Like the way he sounds. Go get him Jimbo. .
I totally agree. Bnknole was telling me about him. He's 33 too.

Get This Guy! He can go toe to toe in So. FL.

"Some people think football is a matter of life and death, I assure you, it is much more serious than that."
Would be a good move if it happens. I floated this scenario in a thread a couple days ago after Coley left. Had no inside info, though- it was pure conjecture.
I used to live in Huntington, and I've hung out with Seider at a cook-out. Funny enough, he told me that FSU was his least favorite school of the Big 3 when he was growing up. I have to imagine that would change if we start cutting his paychecks.
So he's not a man? If that's the case then no thanks. We need men to lead this team.
RaidingNole he's older than 33 and he's exactly who we need in South Fl
NoleReb trust me he'd be gone in a minute!!
I've spoken about Seider a bit on twitter. This is really the only guy who should be considered at this point

I admit I didn't see an age just a high school graduation year of 95. 18 + 18 I guess would be 35/36
I got it.
He's is a take. So lets get him.
>>>>-------------> FEAR THE SPEAR >>>>-------------->
Please let this happen. This is the perfect hire, and exactly what we need.
Sign. Him. Up.
At least someone did, ouch.
As a recruiter, some players he recruited to Marshall
Angelo Jean-Louis (former cane commit)
AJ Leggett (former Cane, Nole, Cane again)
Rakeem Cato (who is putting up some monster numbers at Marshall)
As a RB coach, its important to keep in mind that Marshall is very pass heavy, in fact they lead the country in passing yards per game with 365. Abut 50th or so in rushing. Leading rusher is Kevin Grooms who has about 700 or so yards on the ground. They were 96 in rushing the year before, so he got them 40 spots higher. 114th the year before. So every year he has improved the running game.
I think he possibly takes over the Craig role as passing game coordinator though if he comes here and we move Napier to OC. He was a QB as a player and can help the QB's out. Though he teaches RB's, i would not put him at the level of Sanders.

If he came here he's not coordinating anything.. Coach Dawsey is the passing game coordinator.
The guy seems decent, but answer this question... Could he have got any of the good ones he got without them having bad grades???

Exactly. Angelo Jean Louis was all cane and went to prep school this past year. He spoke to the current players at Miami like every week and was so excited to come here. Well, he couldn't get his grades up and Marshall pretty much will except anyone. Not knocking Jajuan but most of the southflorida kids went to Marshall because their grades sucked and only way they can play D1 football. You guys should know that. Amos Leggett was supposed to be a Nole but couldn't qualify. Ended up at Marshall. Wouldn't give Seider all the credit IMO.
Lebron and Dwayne Wade at the Canes basketball game
So you expect Marshall to compete with Miami for 4 star Miami kids?
The key is these kids bonded with him enough to give Marshall a chance once grades became an issue.
I am a huge Seider fan. Would love to have him at FSU but would hate to lose him at Marshall.
Our RBs were damn good this year considering how much we passed the ball.
