That was just pathetic. I know QB's have "off days", but Logan Thomas just dookied in his bed today.
Really disappointing. There's just no reason for that to happen. The might PITT panthers, who got rolled by Cincinatti and Youngstown State.
Sorry, but this conference is garbage. I try to be patient, and give teams the benefit of the doubt, but I'm really embarrassed for the ACC today.
This is what Virginia Tech does. They lose an early game and then become a powerhouse throughout the remainder of the regular season. Then they play mediocre in bowl games.

VT and Logan Thomas were overhyped to begin with. Not to say I was surprised Pitt beat them after their howing the last 2 weeks, but really, VT should be 1-2 if not for GT choking away that game. This conference is very weak, which should make it all the more disappointing if we aren't champions this year and in talks for the MNC.
"A Seminole warrior killed in battle is a legend remembered. A Gator lost in battle becomes a pair of boots and a belt. "
Logan Thomas is the most overrated Qb ever. He has a career completion % of less than 50%. He's awful.
But he's 6'6" and 260, he's a first rounder.
Everyone clamoring about Logan Thomas didn't watch either of the Clemson games last year. He is terrible and the only reason scouts say anything about him is because of his size and speed. Sounds like a Raiders kinda pick
Kenny Powers: "A true champion will do whatever it takes to rise above. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies."
I'm just pissed I took them to cover at -10. Seemed to good to be true and it was. Should have known better.
I enjoy seeing ACC schools suck. I hate the ACC.
every team in the acc can go 0-12 for all i care. just means we're undefeated in conference play :)
"Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."
So when do VT fans get tired of Beamer Ball?
Would this possibly be because they play a tough non-conference game early, ACC competition throughout the remainder of the regular season, then a team from another conference in the bowl?
James Madison is a tough non-con game? Hmm.
Thomas is huge, athletic Has a plus arm and great motion. That's why he's a first rounder. He is inaccurate and that's why he'll go end of first round start of second and fail
Probably not. Chances are they finish with 10 wins. This is what they do.
Posts like this make me laugh. F*ck the rest of the ACC. I don't care about anybody but FSU. VT losing to Pitt was funny to me.
No interest in bitching about them. I'm tired of hoping for other ACC teams to do this or that so we'll benefit, ready for FSU to simply control their own destiny by winning. To hell with the goings on of other ACC teams.
The spot in the BCS title game opposite the Bama-LSU winner is wide open this year. FSU needs to take care of business and get that other spot.
Ha! Well, maybe Boise State.
Hopefully this year they lose a few throughout the season. I want their streak of 10 wins per years to end.
I don't. We need VT, Clemson, NC st., UF and GT to keep winning.
We just need to take care of numero uno. We win out, we started the year ranked high enough for it not to matter what our fellow ACC mates do.
Strength of schedule will become a factor, especially if we drop one. Many people are still unsure about FSU. Beating bad teams doesn't change that.

If you drop one, unless you are in the SEC, you're out of it anyway. Doesn't take you out of contending for an ACC Title and BCS game, since that is pure mathmatics, not human polls. Like I said, we take care of our business, we started the season ranked high enough to contend, no matter what this crap conference does.
Virginia Tech is a different team at Lane. That's the plain secret to their success. They lose early games on the road, lose bowl games at neutral sites, but beat ACC teams at Lane consistently. FSU will need to come to play to beat them on November 8th.
Do you believe that if Oklahoma, Oregon & FSU go undefeated that we'll be selected over both Oregon & Oklahoma if our opponents have terrible seasons?
I agree that winning is the most important thing, but it's not the only factor that will get us to the big game, imo.
I have to laugh when people throw out the three undefeated team hypothetical. Please go back however long you like and find how many years there were three undefeated BCS teams at the end of the year.
When was the last time 3 teams finished undefeated? You have to just win the game and let the chips fall where they may.
I think VT needs to win for another reason though. Networks aren't going to pay big money for a one team league. For that reason I want fewer teams to underachieve. VT losing to Pitt is pitiful, especially in a year where the ACC had a shot to go as high as the 3rd best league in the land.
