NFL.com debates it:
Anquan Boldin, WR: Never say never -- Boldin has been awfully productive. Yet, I think No. 81 will get caught in a numbers game. For all his catches (772), does anyone think he's better than Cris Carter, Tim Brown or Andre Reed, none of whom are in the Hall? What about Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne? Or Larry Fitzgerald?
Elliot Harrison says San Francisco 49ers receiver Randy Moss is a certain Hall of Famer. But what about the rest of the participants in Super Bowl XLVII -- like Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco?

I agree. He has had a great
career but not HOF
If he gets a 1000 receptions he could get in
Anquan is a no doubt HoFer His first 7 years in the league he had broken a ton of all-time records and he is still relevant even today.
GO NOLES! / SCALP EM!
He just might because the Hall has become all about players that accumulate stats rather than true greatness. I love Quan and he is a great player but receivers are putting up silly video game numbers now. Its a passing league and all the rules favor the offense.
I think Boldin has a real shot but receiver stats are so watered down now. It may take him, and others, a long time to get in.
He would need to play several more years and keep on putting up good numbers.Winning the Super Bowl would also help.
Agree with this and that it is becoming increasingly difficult for WR to get in the HOF with how the offensive schemes in the NFL are trending.
I also have to wonder how much of the on-field performance that isn't reflected on the stat sheet comes into play for HOF voters. Throughout his career Boldin has always been a gamer, played through injuries, and seems to be good team-centric guy.
Right now he is in the Hall of VERY GOOD...right next to Warrick Dunn.... he would need a few more very good years and a big defining moment like a huge game winning catch in the SB or something.... Interesting, there are some very good WR still waiting to get into the hall.....
If he goes nuts in the game tomorrow, that would go a long way for him with the guys in the media that select the HOFers, but I tend to agree with others that he is going to need a few more years of excellent production in order to get in as a career numbers guy a la Art Monk.
Love Anquan, dude is criminally underrated nationally but if Tim Brown, Chris Carter and Andre Reed arent in the HOF then........
i doubt he gets in. realyl good career but just not the type of numbers to get in the HOF. maybe if he spent his whole career with kurt warner throwing to him
FSU Ambassador to the masses
Quan will not get into the hall. WR is a deep position and he just doesn't have the it factor. His best chance is if he has an insane super bowl.
Well cris just got on this year.
San doesn't have anyone who can cover him, also if he wins he will have something a lot of those Wr's don't have, a super bowl ring.
Well Warren Sapp is in so Quan's chances have to look better. Guys who take plays/games off are getting rewarded so a real warrior like Boldin should be a shoe-in.
Don't compare cross position.
Andre reed and tom brown aren't in the hall and both had better careers than Quan.
I am an fsu fan and a ravens fan so. I love Quan but I just think wr is the hardest position to get in and he hasn't been Calvin or moss dominant ever.
