No crap.. He was open to talking to UF... it isn't like he saw the game and was like, oh man I am all UF, I need to call them, they just ran all over FSU... Man I must get a hold of them.. as you guys make it sound..
The game opened the door, but Gran leaving swung the door wide open.. it had zero to do with the game and more to do with Gran leaving...
I'm confused by your contradiction...
I think you are trying to say the right thing but you're too proud to say it.
what... proud to say what...
Gran leaving has more to do with why Collins is looking at UF, then UF rushing for over 200 yards on FSU....
If you want to assume the other then by all means go for it...
"Zero to do with the game"
Momentum and perception are the most important aspects of recruiting

I stand by my statement...
I totally get that you want us to believe that the game is why Collins considered UF, when in fact he had already been talking to them and looking to set up a visit prior to the game..
The game had little to do with Collins and UF interest..
No crap... thanks for clearing that up... again the game had less to do with Collins then you want to try and say it does...
If we miss on him, it's completely understandable.
He had a great relationship with Gran, and now he's gone.
Let's not forget that Alex Collins is not a Nole like you or I. There's no strings being pulled on inside his heart that pushes him to Tallahassee.
I can completely understand why he would be looking hard at Florida right now, and even have them in the drivers seat. Their offense is perfectly suited for him and his skill set. And he would be a feature back, since it looks like Muschamp likes to ride one horse, rather than 3 at a time like Jimbo.
We'll be fine, we have some nice backs on our roster now, with Green coming in [He's not flipping to UF, he's not a douche like Fowler.] Then we have a stud in Yearby coming in in 2014.
Chris Thompson was getting plenty of "feature" back carries prior to injury.
Gran had already told kids he was not going to be here in 2013.
you better hope it wasn't because of the game. Because if the ville beats you maybe he will go there instead.
Right now he is treading water waiting for (1) um's sanctions and (2) our rb coach to be hired.

....... Keep tellin yourself that to make yourself feel better
So basically if UF doesn't have a good game running against FSU then Collins never considers UF... cause that is exactly what you guys are insinuating...
one game means nothing. If so, why is UM in the picture? Gran had already told recruits he was not going to be here in 2013 by time the game was played.
However, I doubt you get him in the end.
Only an idiot would decide where to play based on one game. collins is not an idiot like Fowler. Is he going to transfer when we win next year?
1. He's a cane fan and always has been. That's why Miami is in this and will probably win out.
2. You are probably right about that.
3. One game isn't why Fowler came to UF. Fowler is pretty pleased with his decision. And LOL to "when we win next year"! You guys were pretty confident this year too, am I right? Hahahaha!
Yes we were pretty confident we would win this year. i think most of the nation would agree that the Gator offense really sucked this year (ranked sub 100). In my opinion FSU was a better team we crapped the bed with the turnovers. I dont think it was UF causing the turnovers as much as they were self imposed.
Very similar to the UGA game I think the gators were confident they would win (i thought UF would win) but like FSU too many turnovers by UF and most were self imposed as well. on that day the best did not win same as in Tally.
Life is good. Now lets go win another championship.
While I agree we we're he better team from balance perspective, meaning both sides of the ball lol. They certainly forced some turnovers which resulted because of them. For example, the hit on EJ anyone would have fumbled. It's not a coincidence that UF has won many games this year based upon turnovers. I will say that Los coughing that ball up on the return was the biggest gift I have seen between UF and FSU in many years. The Int's by EJ were bad and on him but EJ missing some open passes was just as bad as the missed opportunities that UF had.
When both teams are good, this game comes down to those moments that are seized or not seized and they came in with a chip on there shoulder and took it!!
Fowler is an idiot-that was the point. The whole middle of your defense will be gone and our t.o. machine is graduating.
