OK St lost to Idaho St late last year.
No. Oklahoma State lost at the end of the year making it only one undefeated team (LSU) from a major conference.
No way huh? lol
I think it's possible but, it would have to be UF or USCe. But it's a moot point, as those 2 teams, well UF mainly, will lose more than 1 gm. Bama doesn't have the schedule, IMO, to make it with 1 loss.
UF still has-#3 LSU (home), #5 UGA (neutral), #6 USCe (home), and #4 FSU (away) Coming out of that with only 1 loss, especially if the gm is very close, would get a serious look.
USCe gets #5 UGA home, #3 LSU on the road, followed up by UF on the road, and their 4 week stretch ends with a home gm vs UT. They end the season away @ Clemson.
If an undefeated #1 Bama is added to the end of both of those resumes (Seccg) those SOS will be rather strong, even compared to an undefeated team's schedule.

What's your reasoning for thinking it would?
The fact that because of recent history and perceptual momentum they'd be a shoe in if they had a 1 loss team win the SECCG. You and FSUkum can "believe what you want"
There's recent history supporting a 1 loss SEC team gets in over an undefeated conference champion? Show me.
Won't happen. Had it been had it been a bigger name school last year then they would have gotten in over Bama as well. Honestly, FSU, the Big 12, and Pac-12 have nothing really to worry about. Our fate is in our hands. Only way FSU is left out as an undefeated is if there more than 1 undefeated team in other conferences. FSU loses one game we are not in the conversation at all but undefeated teams would only get past by another undefeated team. With the media bashing our schedule so much any undefeated team would pass us from any other conference, including ND. I don't think an SEC team will be in the ship this year and I said that over the summer. The teams are too equal. The one thing that made the SEC successful over the past decade is media attention and the fact that they always have 1 team that is just that much better than everyone else in their conference. Parity would have ruined them. This year is a year where the East is just as good as the West and the top 2 teams look human.
Walking up these hills you have no choice but to be fast!
No way we get passed over going undefeated, the media is all in with the hype and as long as we don't trip up it will only get stronger.
Oregon would not be passed over either. The Pac12 isn't quite that great but I don't see a 1 loss sec team go in over them either.
lol all you want I just can't see any 1 loss sec team bumping out an undefeated
Deserve got nothing to do with it...
UF beats LSU
LSU beats Bama
FSU beats UF in tally
Lsu looses to GA or UF in sec game
this is how i want to see the strength of schedule play out
we might be playing Oregon, West Virgina or ND
Life is good. Now lets go win another championship.
Recent History = 6 straight MNCs
How many undefeated teams did the SEC get in the championship game over?
They didn't, he's just arguing for the sake of it and trying to pick at everyone's SEC biased perception. No one knows for sure one way or the other. It shouldn't happen, but it could.
Of course they didn't, that's my point. It won't happen, and there's no evidence to support it would.
Undefeated FSU gets in over any 1-loss team in the nation. if we handle our end of things the only team standing in our way currently is Oregon, as all the sec teams will take care of themselves.
"Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."
