That kid just can't catch a break. Such a great talent, but it looks like knee injuries will take a lot away from him. Looked like a McGahee injury.
"A Seminole warrior killed in battle is a legend remembered. A Gator lost in battle becomes a pair of boots and a belt. "
That is going to be a serious one. not good.
I had to have my wife and son watch the replay. I saw it live on tv and couldn't watch it again.
That's tough to watch. Hopefully he can recover and get a shot at the next level. Best of luck to that young man.
Great showing from both teams huddling around him as he was helped onto the cart.
Speaks very highly of both teams.
Having said that, both these teams are really bad at this point in the season.
If they were ACC teams everyone would point to these two teams as a reason the ACC sucks.
How the voters can seriously think USCe is a top 20 team is crazy.
Their defense just doesn't look good again, and their offense is just pedestrian.
Don't know what happened to their defense to look this average???

Unversity of South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore breaks he left knee in a game with the University of Tennesse. Slow motion video on ESPN of the injury. Possible compound fracture of ACL/MCL tears.

The other side of the game. The work and dedication it takes to reach any level much less D-1. You hate to see anyone get injured. Truly a classy kid!! Prayers for a speedy recovery!!
Nastier than willis' feel so bad for the kid.
If you haven't watched the hit, don't. Its disgusting. Feel really bad for him. His knee cap was pointing right after that and not straight.
Poor kid. That was atrocious. Gotta think odds are his career is in serious danger now...
i had to watch it and this is the first injury i have ever watched (McGahee included) where I am upset that I watched it
Football is really violent, and 20 years from now I think it'll look different, and safer.
Man, that was horrible. So sorry for Lattimore!
Hope he can pull Frank Gore and fight through two huge college injuries and have a great pro career.
Any comic fans out there, check out Tart, written by a Seminole Grad, who is incidentally... me.
Agree with all of the posts...great player and seems like a great kid.
terrible.... looked gruesome, like that Prothro injury a few years back. Hoping for a speedy recovery for the kid.

Good grief, just saw the injury during OU/ND halftime. Feel bad for the guy. Didn't know it was that serious.
Broken femur and all 4 ligaments torn... Just awful, i hope we get to see him play again, tremendous player.
Marcus Lattimore suffered a Broken Femur, Broken Patella, Torn ACL, Torn MCL, Torn PCL, and Torn LCL in Todays Game.
Femur is very concerning. He wont be walking for a number of months. Obviously out all of next year as well. Just awful. Gonna be a grueling road back. Modern medicine will play a huge role. The surgery he is likely just coming out of was crucial. Cheering for him.
Always feel bad when a good kid goes down. Hopefully he (and CT) can make it all the way back. Godspeed.
"I never knew I had a foot until I noticed it was on your neck"
Such a terrible thing. To make things worse, he just lost 10s of millions on one play. He will be lucky to run again let alone play football
Feel so bad for him. It was obvious right when it happened. Something like that will make anybody emotional that has competed in team sports.
Reminded me of the kickboxing video where the guy gets his kick blocked and his leg is just hanging there. Not cool..
Just can't see how he'd ever be able to make it back into football after that. There are some great Orthopedic surgeons out there but not sure this type of reconstruction is possible to allow him back on the field. Feel really bad for the kid and his family.
I can't stand this happening to players of his caliber, character and charisma.
He doesn't show boat, he doesn't talk crap, he doesn't do anything to draw attention to him self yet he has the worst luck in America. Maybe it's the plan for his life, who knows but he didn't deserve not once ounce of this. Kid is amazing, does his work and is just what every football player should be. Guy is not selfish in anyway, shape or form. He puts his head down and grinds it out ... just works his butt off.
Who knows this may be the end of his career or it could just be another speed bump. I surely hope he doesn't give up. Kid has so much potential is ungodly. Life isn't fair and boy, it wasn't no were near fair for him Saturday.
Football is a game of inches and implications. I'll be rooting for Marcus every single day till the day he is ready to play once again. God bless you Marcus, you represent the state of South Carolina, Spartanburg County and Gamecock nation with the up most pride. And please kid, NEVER GIVE UP ... Neither will we!
