I think Jimbo is far from the chopping block
12-2, ACCCG,BCS wins put you on the hot seat around here. I got a favor to ask. Can you guys start losing again so this board can get a little sanity back?
Didn't Jimbo beat his biggest rivals his first and 2nd years in away gms? We only lost twos gm this season that could have easily went our way.
Your actually planning two seasons ahead for this? like of those coaches would have any interest in FSU.
I hope Jimbo is here for 10 years
FSU can't afford to fire coaches who win 10 games and have years left on their contract.
I say this only half in jest, but...maybe folks should check with their doctor about getting some anxiety medication?
Already talking about a new coach? Really. My Lord.
Lol already putting up candidates. I wish I had the stuff you guys are on...
We have some TURDS in the punch bowl. I repeat we have TURDS floating in the punch.
If we were to fire Jimbo then I would want James Franklin.

This or Gary Patterson for me.
Jimbo Fisher= Mark Richt. All he does is win football games, average 10 win seasons, and pull in top 10 recruiting classes every year, but the UGA faithful want him gone. It's the times we live in. Guy wins 10 we want 11. Wins the ACC/SEC championship then hell he should win the NATL Championship. It's a job I certainly don't envy.
Except Mark Richt doesn't play in the ACC with a roster that is clearly more talented than the rest of the conference.
Mind if I ask what the CHS in your name stands for?
Tell me what you think jimbos biggest wins are ?????
And lose to double digit under dawgs on the road every year he has been head coach !!!!!
Comparing a 10 win season in the ACC to a 10 win season in the SEC can't be done. It would be like saying comparing single A to quad A high school teams. Completely different level of competition.
While this definitely has been an issue - this improved a lot this year. 5-1 against double digit dogs. Obviously you want it to be zero, but it keeps getting better.
Richt does like to lose to underdogs though.
06 home to Vandy(4-8) and @ Kentucky(8-5).
09 vs Kentucky(7-6) @ home and UT(7-6) @ Knoxville.
10 @ Colorado and @ Miss State(9-4).
Some of those games are very similar to FSU losing to the likes of Wake Forest, NCSU, and UVA.
I am actually an alumnus of UGA, and can remember reporters interviewing people on game day calling for Marks head. Was not a pretty day between the hedges lol. While the SEC is routinely a more competitive conference a loss is a loss. Especially if you clearer have a size, talent, and ability advantage that both UGA and FSU have in many of the games they lose
I lot of good reasons in this thread to give out licenses to have children. Since we've clearly already failed the next season or two, can you guys give me a head's up when we get to 2015?
If you are ever wondering where all the stupid ideas have gone, go look on the internet; they're all there!
After next year, when you are firmly on board with reality (this is coming). I'm going to mock the hell out of you...
Posters like you = take a ruler out, measure the the first 3-years win/loss improvement, and extrapolate....end up drawing a line which continues to increase.
Posters like me = take a ruler out, measure the lack of consistency of an offense over 6-years, whether it be through choosing the wrong players, playcalling, coaching technique, etc.. consider that the personnel peaked last year.... consider that we are unlikely to replace a DC with 2-years of top-5 defense with a new DC, with 0 experience..... And ending up drawing a line which trends downward next year, then more straight.
The average fan pays far too much attention to wins/losses... and simply doesn't understand/comprehend the mechanics/reasons behind why a team wins/loses. When the underlying mechanics of WHY a team is winning/losing is not improving, yet their record is improving, the gains are much more likely to be because of personnel gains vs. strategy/coaching gains... Years like this upcoming year, will tell the true-tale of Mr. Fisher, when his personnel gains take a step back and he has to rely on his coaching chops to win.
Jimbo has proven he doesn't have a better grasp than the average fan over why his offense fails/suceeds.... There is no reason to believe he's going to magically gain coaching prowess next year, and out-coach the majority of our opponents. There is no reason to believe the mechanical nature behind why we are winning/losing will improve, when personnel gains have been the clear reason behind the majority of improvements over the past 3-years.

You might be the worst poster on this site. This is not the first time i have seen you post that you hope we have bad seasons. That is pathetic. You want us to lose so your agenda can be met, or to justify your senseless posts. In your last post, you basically say you want us to fail so you can rub it the face of another poster. Lame, so very lame.
No, you are a poster with a ruler. I am a guy supporting a university I care about and a football team I enjoy watching.
I'm not projecting anything other than the fact that most people that are high level critics never create or build anything. They simply tear down the work of others. People that are generally negative don't have the psychology or composition to do great things. Enjoy your "line drawing." I'm busy watching a football game.
Agree. Most of our rivals don't have the guts to come over here openly campaigning for FSU football to fail, but this guy roots for it to "burn to the ground" and is a supposed fan. We would certainly ban UF or UM posters for the same type of behavior, I believe.
My personality subset constructs nearly every system you toil in because of our agnostic absorbtion of information and comprehension of the bigger picture.
I am a god and you are toiling in my playground mortal. Never question me
The fact that you spend so much time with a ruler in your hand makes me believe you are taking credit for the accomplishments of your subset peers.
