Sounds like he's got a vendetta against us or something? I mean I don't think we played inspired football either, but man is he piling on. By the way he sounds, I'd be surprised if he ever picks us to win a big game every again. Can't wait to watch him swim up stream after we curb stomp NIU.
He still picked us to win though.
Did he? I guess I missed that with all the venom he was spewing. He was so critical it sounded like he was holding a grudge or something?
He has a point. We are more talented this year than uf and we let them bend us over in our home stadium, and followed that up by eeking out a win versus ga tech
Well I don't really blame him. If I were in his spot I wouldn't be happy with us either. He's been hyping us up the past could seasons and we've let him down time after time.
I don't blame him or necessarily disagree with his thoughts. What caught my attention were the venomous tones he had in all his words. It's like he lost a TON of money on us or something? I can't remember him acting so much like Mark May in the way he couldn't hide or control his emotions.
He did pick us to win. Corso picked NIU.
I kind of took it as him doing his job; drumming up interest so people will watch the worst BCS bowl.
I wasn't offended.

I'm completely on board w/ everything he said.
Do you believe our players are more concerned with draft status and picking their agents? You also believe that our players wont respect this team because they're from the MAC? Maybe you agree with Herbie that all that doesnt matter because Lynch's comment has now fired up this team. Which of Herbies stances do you agree with?
Could care less what that guy thinks of us look up his career stats
After his venomous rant about the travesty of NIU getting into a BCS game, it sounds like he's trying to ameliorate his position a bit in order to generate more interest for ESPN.
Herbie seems to love us, then hate us, love us, hate us ... ad nauseam. But he probably does feel the need for a generous slathering of anal-eze after picking EJ to be a heisman favorite and FSU to be in the running for national champ over the last couple of years.
Hey he picked us to challenge for a National Championship this year and we couldn't even go undefeated in our conference. We don't dominate like we should and we struggle against weaker opponents. Herbie is valid to knock on us a bit. Tonight we have a lot to prove.
Why should he by high on us? we didn't show up once on the road. We were flat against our biggest rival. Our offense got on the bus at halftime of the acccg.
It hasn't been disgusting just for FSU fans to watch this team for our away games this year. It has been disgusting for the pundits as well.
We need to stop whining and the team just needs to play for 4 quarters.
He was also high on EJ and EJ has disappointed big time.
Couldn't agree more. He has been trying to believe in FSU for quite some time and I think he picked us to win the NC this year. I think he feels like most FSU fans do. We know our team is talented, but we also know they haven't seemed to reach their full potential and it's extremely frustrating. I hope our boys come out firing on all cylinders and show what they are truly made of tonight.
at one point when he was "piling it on" he was being sarcastic. he picked us and actually went on a rant about how dumb it was that NIU was talking shit. he expects us to kill them and seemed to be openly rooting for us to do so IMO. not sure if we are talking about the same segment but the guy doesnt hate us
Can someone elaborate on this? DId he really imply this (about the agents and respecting a MAC team?)
