I'm trying to ease my gf into it so it won't be boring to her when I'm on 247 and that way she can also relate to it lol. If you have and it worked, what did you do? If it didn't work, what went wrong? Thanks everyone, she seems to be open to the idea lol
My wife barely can understand Saturday's in fall. My mom (FSU 1965) on the other hand...
FSU Football. Making cool the new swag since 2013.
My girlfriend Rosie Palm and her five sisters love recruiting!!!
GF said she couldn't wait for signing day because I was on my phone or iPad for hours each night. She did start to ask about some UVA recruits ( that's her team). Also, asked about Derrick Green cuz he was at her high school. Also she knew about Hackenburg cuz her brother went to Hargrave growing up and she knew of Fork Union. She couldn't understand why he wanted to go to PSU given the sanctions. She likes sports but just thinks I take it to an obsessive level which I do.
My fiance is a huge FSU fan and will watch the games on Saturday and go to most of the home games but could care two licks about anything besides what happens for football games.
She makes fun of me for posting on here so much.
Dated a girl that thought she knew a lot more about sports than she really did. Didn't care for it...
"Some people think football is a matter of life and death, I assure you, it is much more serious than that."
Get her a Pinterest account. It will give her something to do while you're on 247.
I tried with my ex.
She didnt care too much, but could remember a few names like LaMarcus Joyner and James Wilder Jr
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or it may last a year. But eventually, it will subside. If i quit, however it will last forever.
Same here she says I have a problem but I don't see it. She also calls this site "my boyfriends". I told her I get more satisfaction from this site than her (joking of course) needless to say I slept on the couch for a few days
I think its easier to talk a woman into a threesome with another woman then it will be for her to get into recruiting. My woman thought I was nuts for getting on line everyday after work for the past 2 months. I tried to explain it and she gave me that, are you stupid, look as she passed me the baby! Good Luck though!
I prefer to keep this obsession a secret, thank you very much.
When you understand every bit of fashion and her compulsion for 100000000000000 pairs of shoes, only then will she compitulate.
Well, I did at least find something she could equate it to. She and I have hired, trained, mentored and nurtured sales staffs for several decades plus. I got her to look at it thus:
You find and interview and ultimately, by winnowing out the chaff, hire a newbie with little or no experience at your level but solid potential.
You train them and bring them along by putting tools in their path that if properly used, will enable them to succeed.
You monitor their efforts, and continually course correct with continuing education.
You retain and nurture those that desire and expend effort to achieve goals.
You pare off those who can't or won't make it.
She gets it! But like my friend' partner above, just doesn't care.
My Grand Daughter however, makes me keep her informed as to who we bring in and wants to know whether or not they begin to stink up the joint. She hollers at our guys for making what she considers bonehead plays, almost as she does at the refs on general principle.
When I'm on my ipad, the GF gets on pinterest or instagram or looks at nail polish.
She picks up on a few of the names that she constantly hears me talking about, but for the most part I gave up on trying to get her involved.

I love recruiting, perfect Saturday is either at the game or at home with pizza/beer and a good surround sound. Sometimes my husband tells me to shut up about it. My other girl friends hate me, oh well
My girlfriend thinks its creepy as all hell.
Before I got married, I used to try to recruit wives and girlfriends.
